  2. breath in as you are about to do the technique this provides you rbody with oxygen and burns more glucose so gives you energy exhale * you are just about to execute the technique if you get hit at chudan(middle level) you wont get the wind knocked out of you itl just hurt a bit.
  3. my thioughts exactly i think you should pik the rite martial art for you if you like it do it i didnt pick shotokan becuase i wanted to fight against multiply opponents i did it so i could defend myself if i neded to and i enjoyed it. If you enjoy it do it.

    ive never heard of these other ways but you learn something new every day i have a friend who is japanese and he doesnt use the variations
  5. i once saw this guy who puches himself in the head and jaw every day and he has built up a resitance he has very thik skin on his face but i dont recomend it

  18. make sure you know everything i onced asked someone to show me something on the day of a grading becuase we didnt know whether it was going to come up however it did and i was fine cos i had just practiced it. Make sure you know everything that could possibly come up.
