  4. if taught rite it can be very deadly although i belive it doesnt have that killer technique so its not as deadly as some other arts

    i belive a puch bag is better an cheaper than all of those boards that you break

  12. if you do shotokan try jyu kumite as well as a reaction puchbag (eg you hit when the light comes on)

It may be stockful of the other benefits that I consider positive that you can gain from martial arts. I'm not going to open up a boxing vs. karate debate. Let's just say I've boxed before but it was karate that I chose to continue... my thoughts exactly but it should have been prepare to defend yourself not fight
