  5. Mine is also almost completely kids under 14, we have one guy that comes every now and then who is in his 40's , but other than him I'm the oldest and I'm only 16! It does get to be a bother sometimes.

I've never had a training journal,though I do keep a privet one.I find that some time when you have strong emotions that you connot talk to anyone about getting them onto paper is extreemly helpful.And it is good to be able to look back and read about little details in your life that you would have otherwise forgotten.
  7. God.But not in a scary way, more of in awe of him. I don't fear death because I know that it's just a doorway to something better if you know God. Of more human things, I love snakes but spiders terrify me. I fear losing those who are close to me. I don't much like mice or bulldogs either.

  9. I don't know how much I've thought of martial arts and music blending together.But I do play the piano and with some of my well memorized songs I just close my eyes and alow myself to meditate while I play. A form of meditation in motion I suppose.
  10. I know what you mean Sohan.The most I've done at one time was 110 in pyramid sets (10, rest, 9 rest, etc.) during a gym class and by the time I was at about 70 it started getting much easier.It really does just get to be an endurance thing. Though I still can't do more than 40 straight

  13. try lying on your side propt up on one arm and raise your leg and hold for 15 sec. do 10 on each side. stand with your back against a wall and slide down untill you are sitting at a 90 degree angle, this will work on your knees if you take a big 12 inch ball or a pillow and put it in between your legs and squeeze them together 20 sec,rest 20 seconds. Do at least ten. Hope this will help you.I have quite a few more if you want me to post them.
  14. I'd alsso go with pulse rate.I do know that skipping rope burns calories way faster than running. So you don't need to go as long as if you were running.
  15. Looks like my brown belt instructor has been okayed to to test me! Now of course I'm getting nervous, I've got a lot of philosophy to memorize and I have to prepare for 3 muinets of public speaking. Yay!!
