  1. Thanks Reklats--give me the link you when you get it.
  2. Man, let the injury heal. Enjoy the moment with the companionship. Practice is always there.
  3. Would you agree that a martial art is a system of fighting under one category? Per analogy, sports is the system of athletic activties under one category.
  4. They are indeed. You get killed by a mistake resulting from a crash
  5. [quote name="DLopez Well' date=' it could be argued that what "foreigners" are REALLY complaining about, are those Americans that are empowered to vote and change things, yet choose inaction, thus perhaps resulting in an outcome that is undesirable from the foreigner's perspective. Not just that, some complain about American politics and certain ofifcials. IOW, it's your fault things are how they are if you did not vote. Bull-if my opponent lost-it doesn't change anything Why you list this with the others is sorta odd. Serving on a jury seems so un-political anyway? I've served on a jury; hated the inconvenience; but when dealing with the trial, the question of how the plaintiff and defendants voted didn't even cross my mind. Besides, if you really want to get out of jury duty, just take a stand towards the plaintiff or the defendant during the Voir Dire. You'll be struck from the list by one side or the other, as they don't want jurors that already have made up their minds. Only to be put on another list. And it is the idea to be put on a list because of voting registration. Why does that have a bearing on whom is a juror? Why non-voters also?
  6. Anyone else has interesting clips?
  7. Not neccessary. Foolish game.
  8. Welcome back kchenault Hope your trip was well.
  9. I am not speaking in terms on not striking. I am not speaking in terms of many not kicking. I am speaking in terms of high and fanciful kicks.
  10. But wrestling methods are physical applications that can be used in fighting, more so than tennis.
  11. No, not arguing for the sake of arguing. People that do vote, and their candidate does not win, then their action was nullified. The voting system is inaccurate on the national scale. Sometimes NO action has a effect that others may not realize. How can a non-American state that a American whom does not vote has no reason to complain? In that case, THEY should have no reason to complain. But foreigners do complain about American politics. The issue at hand IS the the right to complain if one does not vote. The issue at hand IS why should one be forced on a jury list if they do not vote. The issue at hand IS everyone is entitled to their complaints, their opinions, and political views without having to be a voter.
  12. Too lethal to spar? Everyone has extreme or devastaing moves. Controlled sparring gives a few benefits. Theories, quadrants, pressure sensitive targets, are fine and dandy-all are common knowledge. Where did OCFM come from? Sounds like someone creating another "tactical" martial art. Same ol-same ol.
  13. CMA has many benefits. In addition you train in JJJ so thus would give you much versatility.
  14. To not sound biased, and I like TKD, I prefer Shotokan over TKD. Hapkido over Shotokan, altough I like Shotokan. Aikido over Hapkido. JJ over Aikido. IMHO. This is NOT to be misconstrued as one Better than another. I am speaking in terms of my view of proncipal, quality, and availability.
  15. Kicks, that guy that had died, was a good friend of my brother. Short world. And yes, from what my brother had told me, the grandpareants are trying for custody. The old saying : "If there is no conflict, there is no victory or defeat". It is best to not be in such a situation/place to begin with.
  16. But through the many years of martial art training, one develops martial art discipline. Small verbal threats are not taken in offense.
  17. This falls into the same reasoning as shin conditioning and training to keep the hands up. Why?
