boxing and judo
Karateka_latino replied to g's topic in Choosing a Martial Art, Comparing Styles, and Cross-Training
Yes, it IS a good combination, just keep in mind this... train Judo with and without the GI. try to flow from punching to clinching to throwing to grappling. Remeber to do a hardcore training in NeWaza (groundfighting( techniques.. Most of Judo school focus on Gi Throwing. also, try to learn a couple of set up low kicks just in case you are too far for punching.. closing the distance kicks. Other arts that can be usefull with boxing too.. wrestling, freestyle and greco, Brazilian Jiujitsu, Sambo, Submission Wrestling... -
You are pretty flexible by now and if you keep exercising, you will get even better , keep up.

What im trying to do is buy them im amazon.com they have good ol kung fu movies at $9.99 which is a good price for movies like that. lol They have some classics like " Secret Rivals" " Five deadly Venoms" " Leg Fighter/The invincible legs of kung fu" " the Victim" "death duel of kung fu" , etc... so If you are interest and have some left over money, you may want to check them out. lol! -
