Well, since you brought it up

Wow!! Forget watching Jackie Chan/Jet Li movies - I'll just listen to you guys ! I've never had to experience that first-hand and hope to god I never do...That's one of the reasons I like to go to spar on Saturdays - so that if I ever end up in a situation like that, I at least won't be afraid to be hit and would perhaps be able to think a bit more clearly and not just overcome by fear. Cool stories you guys!! Lori

I think it's pretty safe to say Angus is being sarcastic... Anyways, like Ken said, use the wooden ones to start - if you really want to learn how to use the weapons, it won't matter how you learn, right? When you've started to get good with them, then ask your parents again and show them that you are proficient enough to warrant buying the real thing. Lori

LOL, I don't think I wanna go so far as to kick him between the legs, but thanks anyway . I think next time I'll just talk with him first, cause he is a very nice guy. I was kinda hoping to be able to dodge around him a bit though, cause in a real fight I can't actually say "Um excuse me but you're just a tad bit close for me, so would you mind backing up a bit so I can kick your butt?" Thanks for all the help! Lori -
Nice pic!! Lori
