Are you asking because you don't have an instructor?

Enjoy it while you can. I'm giving up my front row parking space for this Member of the Month thing. -
Seminar......WOOHOO!!!
ZR440 replied to Jazzstorm's topic in TKD, TSD, Hapkido, and Korean Martial Arts
Do any of his sons still travel with him? I've never seen them at a seminar, but hear they are pretty amazing. -
With all that exercise during the week, I wouldn't be too worried with what types of food to eat, just as long as you get enough to satisfy the workout requirements. How much is that? Only you will be able to tell.

Don't forget your paintbrush. -
That's OK. I'll see if I can have it done at the local GM garage.

Having a powerful engine is a cultural thing here in the states. And it really started in the streets of Detroit, like Woodward Avenue, back in the 1950s and 1960s. The Big Three didn't want anyone to have the edge in performance no matter if it was on the streets or on the race track. The engineers would try out new drivetrain combinations on long stretches of roads in the Motor City by racing from garage to garage, tuning their powerplants to the max in these secret hideouts. It wasn't for pure pleasure, it was business. They still try to outperform each other, but it's evolved into areas of handling and engine management as much as how many cubic inches are stuffed under the hood. And since gasoline is still relatively cheap here the public will continue to want large displacement engines.

Hey D, You able to reprogram any PROM? I am swapping out the 305 for a 350 in my Silverado and will eventually need to change/reprogram the PROM.

A Ford what? Puma? Never heard of it.

75 horsepower? My 440 cc snowmobile has more than that!
-
Ford Fiesta? Must be the European version of the Focus? Or, God help all of us, the Festiva?

You might want to contact a local college that offers TKD. The instructor would probably be able to answer you questions on tournament info.

Nope. They're about 2.5 cm in diameter the entire length. I wouldn't want it tapered. It would have a greater chance of slipping out while swinging it. You can look at different kinds at any website that sells sticks.

We're a little like that too. The parades held in Detroit after winning the Cup three times in the past decade have attracted about a million people each time. The Wings practice camp is located about 5 minutes away from where I'm at now. Some people camp out in the parking lot of the facility just to get tickets to it. I've scored some good autographs after their practices (Yzerman, Federov, Lidstrom, etc.), but there's so many people crowding around it's a hassle. But worth it.

You have two NHL teams in that state. You should go see a game.

I think mine are 28" (71 cm).

As much as I would like to notify Warren Sapp of this topic, I will just ask that it be kept on-topic. And that was hockey, more specifically the Stanley Cup Finals.
-
Hockey is for girls, that's funny. Tie Domi would love to hear that. The World Cup will be good this year. I'm picking Sweden vs Canada in the Finals, but I haven't checked out the brackets yet either. Might be the last hockey we see for a year.

They don't really train in hand to hand combat before a mission as much as you might think. They cover the mission itself, logistics, the culture of the area, etc. My friend helps plan the missions so I kinda get the inside scoop, except for where they go and what the purpose really is. That's confidential.

What title does your instructor have?
ZR440 replied to Gumbi's topic in General Martial Arts Discussion
My instructor tells the class to call him by his nickname if they want. It's not that he doesn't like a formal name, it's a Filipino cultural thing where everyone is considered equal. I still find it difficult to call him by his name after all the years I previously spent in a Korean art. -
Whoa, 3600 stall. Nice. I first thought in your description that it might be a driveshaft balance problem. Too bad it wasn't. Yeah, them pressurized 231s are bad little units. Mine won't pull the front tires, but it'll sure blow away any stupid Honda Civic with the rediculous soup can tail pipe.

Wish me luck tomorrow!

Black belt candidate. He'll go thru one or two more practice tests before being promoted to JKN. -
Wiped out the TC? I can't say that I've seen that happen before. Well, if that was stock you're probably better off anyway. You need a higher stall with that engine. And if you like R&I engine/trans that much, you can start on my truck when you get bored. The old Vortec is pretty much toast. Now I'm scrambling to get my Buick GN on the road. Hope I don't encounter any problems like you had. I did notice the input shaft had some wear on it when I threw in a new seal. Hope those splines last a few more years. I'm growing tired of twisting wrenches.
