  1. Hey CKD, I know the USA is not perfect, but wonder where you get some of your info. These trade restrictions you talk of against China are BS. I see their low quality products in every store I go to. What do we gain if we eliminate trade restrictions against Cuba? Nothing really. It'll just make Castro richer and he'll continue his dictatorship. Next subject: European history. I do believe that we poured millions of dollars into rebuilding the infrastructure of Europe and Japan in the last two world wars. And...if it wasn't for the USA backing Russia and England with troops and supplies during WWII, both would had the hell knocked out of them and Europe wouldn't be what it is today. Yeah, we might not be the best country, but we don't sit back and pick our behinds like some other countries. Like a saying goes over here: Lead, follow, or get out of the way.
  2. XP is good for those who are newbies to PCs, but a pain in the butt for business applications. It doesn't like some programs we run at all. I'll stick to Win98.
  3. I'm speechless.
  4. Charlie Daniels ended up telling one of the networks to get bent because they didn't like one of the songs he wrote about Sept 11th. Too bad for the networks. They will miss having that good ol boy play the fiddle and so will we.
  5. This may be more work, but it would be better to list the terms by language/dialect. If someone wants to find the term for a side kick in Korean, it would be a heck of a lot easier to look in that section instead of one mass list of terms.
  6. To all those who want to see Linkin Park: Save your money and go see a band with some talent. Hey 360, you'll like Robert Plant. I've seen him 3 times (the last was the Page/Plant tour) and he was great every time. I just wonder how is voice is now.
  7. Forgot to say that you should be able to go into your recycle bin and restore it.
  8. Did you delete that file because of an email sent to you about a virus that can't be detected by virus software and you must manually delete it? That file affects java and you've been tricked. It's BS.
  9. Only seen one concert, Dream Theater, so far. I plan on seeing Korn, Tool, and Dream Theater again (this time with Joe Satriani). Might buy a friends Rush ticket if he doesn't go. I've seen them before with Primus. Wow!
  10. Yeah, I finally watched that fight. Mikey was pathetic. Lewis landed some good punches, but I've seen better from him too.

    pet??

I got a pet rock. The worthless p.o.s. just lays there and does nothing.
  12. Mine would be small, compact, easy to use with minimal training, non-lethal yet powerful enough to floor anyone, and legal to possess in most states. Hey, that sounds like pepper spray. That's it! Perfect.
  13. Ahh, good old big hair metal. Winger: She's only 17. Great guitar work. Whoa, having flashbacks to all the concerts I seen back then. The biggest influence I have in MA is an undisciplined MA school across town that I observed a few years ago at an open tournament. Bunch of punks. I sort of vowed that I would never portray the hot shot attitude they did. I also look up to Master Simons in KSW for his patience and willingness to teach with a smile on his face.
  14. Are you sure you want a demonstration?
  15. If they can prove it they should shove one down the front of his pants and detonate it.
  16. I'm against any unification because with the exchange rate the way it is now a $20 lap dance only costs me $12 USD.
  17. Thanks. It's kinda pathetic how food can be such an inspiration in my critical thinking.
  18. That's kinda hard to answer without knowing what you are looking for, however, there is a KuK Sool Won school in Berkley that might appeal you. Call them up and see if you can observe a class. Those people there are nice to talk to and it might be close enough to you. Let me know if you want their web site address.
  19. No one that I know of would miss Mikey if he fell off the face of the earth.
  20. Watching World Cup? Not with the Stanley Cup Finals playing now, which I had Game Two tickets last night. Wow! Sorry, I had to brag about that.
  21. Statistics smishtics. Here's some too. http://www.gunfacts.org/prevention.htm I can see Iron's arguement about guns being handled by children. Parents need to be responsible by educating the kids more. It wouldn't do anyone any good to have a gun locked up for home defense. I sure don't. Educate the masses my friends... Suicide statistics. That just indicates that the mentally troubled or cowardly individual got the job done right the first time around. A rope works pretty good but not everyone knows how to tie the noose correctly. I'm signing up for a CCW class, which is a requirement for obtaining the concealed permit here in Michigan. The new handgun law was finally passed last year allowing responsible citizens the ability to carry. Anti gun advocates cried that it would increase crime and accidents. They were wrong. It did nothing of the sort. Funny story: Out of protest to Canadian gun laws, a Manitoba man is in trouble for sending a gun registration card to the government with information about his WellerBlack&Decker soldering iron on it. He even got a response card back listing WellerBlack&Decker as the makemodel. It finally was caught by more competent authorities and is being reviewed.
  22. Unfeasable. There's no cost benefit for us here in the States other than your natural gas and your beer.
  23. If I could only get a second wind in the afternoon at the office....
  24. I was in to a specialist a few months ago for sublexation of the patella. It hurt so bad that I had a MRI scan done to verify there wasn't any other problems. I honestly thought my knee was falling apart at the time. I asked the specialist if I should lay off the MA and he said absolutely not. Just do what you can do. My treatment: weight training. It still is a little loose, but feels a lot better.
