  1. One last time, I am asking those involved here not to trade insults and/or keep the argument going by daring someone to go to Japan for a fight, for example. If there is nothing that can be said that will add any value to this thread it might as well be shut down.
  2. I know Kuk Sool Won is offered at some bases. I think it's even taught at West Point.
  3. A quick reminder before this thread gets out of hand: Keep it respectful even if you don't agree. Thanx
  4. Maybe you could do a Master's thesis on that.
  5. Rocky Marciano and Joe Louis of old time. Roy Jones, Jr of present day.
  6. I love women with six packs. Especially if it's bottles. Sorry, it's Friday and I'm getting thirsty.
  7. Eat some Cheetos, but beware of the cheese dust.
  8. Better off finding what car they are driving and pour a liter of water down into their gas tank.
  9. I can relate to stupidity without even thinking about it.
  10. In your whole life? Ever seen the movie Dumb and Dumber? Better wear a diaper.
  11. Hey, leave Jerry alone. He may have had one too many pokes from high voltage applications. (You can tell an EE from everyone else because they don't wear any rings or watches) ahhahaha Sorry Jerry, had to get that little jab in here.
  12. Dustin, While I do not claim to know anything about Aikido I'm sure you could apply their techniques in a pre-emptive attack. But why? If some drunk guy had too much loud-mouth soup your best choice in that situation is to get your friend out of there. Negotiating with drunk people is pretty difficult in the first place. And if punches haven't been traded off yet, then just get out. Your reputation won't be damaged by leaving. The people who want to fight will be the one's with a bad image.
  13. Let her do the talking, don't say anything stupid, and just use common sense.
  14. While I'd be afraid of a person who has trained in many styles, I'd be even more afraid of someone who has trained in one all their life.
  15. Where's the victory party being held at?
  16. I hope you like snow.
  17. Motrin started to rot my stomach after a few days. Didn't help anyway. Supposed to start warm water soaks to reduce the stiffness in the joint, but all that does is make it swell, so I've gone back to ice. Thought about pouring a cold beer in my shoe also.
  18. Maybe not fingers so much, but larger joint (wrist, elbow) are very effective if done properly.
  19. Go see an orthopedic if possible. They are able to diagnose and suggest rehab better than a general practicioner. In the mean time, do the r.i.c.e thing...rest, ice, compression, elevation. And yes, I had a knee problem last year. It really sucked. But not as bad as my current ankle injury. Found out yesterday I have a bone chip in addition to slightly torn ligament.
  20. I love 'em, but they take a whole lot of practice to be used effectively.
  21. If you like what you are doing...who cares? You'll just be the best (insert color) belt in the class.
  22. Johnny, You might consider purchasing a bullet proof vest and make sure you look both ways before crossing a street. Someday, sometime, someone is not going to like the lesson you teach.
  23. Just take your spike heels off and start waving them around like a lunatic.
  24. Perhaps running could be considered self defense?
