Didnt u say that theres also a 47 year old man in ur dojo that said he would kill u? U also mentioned this on another post: I apologise if i'm wrong but it sounds like u get into alot of trouble... I would suggest the police definatley, assualting people is a serious offence. p.s Didnt u also mention in a post that u cud take on 3 to 4 inexperienced guys who were ur same size and build, u should really be able to take this guy if thats the case
  5. A really Chivalrous act would be to save someones life totally selflessly, expecting nothing in return and telling no one about it. I respect anyone u would act like that.

  11. Ah, the bliss of free healthcare.... Anyway, my brother has a similar problem. He severly broke his arm in the elbow region and could not fully extend it, and after 2 years he still cant. That however was a very serious brake and he neglects the exercises that the physio prescribed. Basically the physio told him to keep it exercised and strentched and he was shown a series of simple exercies that he must do daily (he never does them) and after a period of time mobility will return. My advice is to see a physiotherapist or if not possibly search the net or books to find out the exercies required to overcome ur injury, I think thats the best option. In the mean time keep it exercised. The book "Dynamic Strength" by Harry Wong (check amazon) does have an elbox exercise which helps prevent injury to the elbow (I know its too late) but it cud help.
  12. I agree. Only recently have a been specifically working on my triceps as well as biceps. There seems to be a myth out there that biceps are everything and that there the biggest muscle in ur arm, I dont know why. Maybe its because when someone (egotistical beefcake usually) puts there arm up to show their muscles of its the biceps that u see from the front.
  13. Sounds like u got the flu. I had about a month ago and I couldnt train either.
  14. Please explain what all these kicks are...
  15. Getting in close then delivering a swift, hard elbow strike. I also like the jumping front kick. Nice and simple.
  16. White, but you should also have put red on there becuse they are probably the third most popular colour of Gi. purple?

  20. u cant, anyone trying to learn online wud never get past the basics. If we cud learn everything online then we'd never need to go 2 skool...
  21. How many sweeps do u guys learn then? We only really learn how to sweep are normal fighting stance (karate), so basically theres only really one type of sweep in are art. I suppose in somthing like Judo or ju jitsu its different, but in a striking art ur only gonna really learn how 2 strike ur own stance.
  22. Rich67, u seem to know ur stuff, i've noticed on quite a few threads. Are u a physio or somthing?
  23. chinese heavy arm training? is that similar to isometrics or dynamic strength?
  24. Yeah i'm from the midlands (east midlands) too, i'd say TKD, karate, Judo and maybe kickboxing are all very popular around here.
