  2. I coulda done without the bulge story...
  3. *LMAO* Dude, I just spit my drink out! That rawks!
  4. hehe, I wouldn't have called that "freakish"...perhaps mangled, mutilated, or *, but not freakish. jk, sweetie.
  5. It sounds like you're talking about a kip-up...but I'm not quite sure...could you do a more detailed description.
  6. No problem, just pay attention to the labels, and the SERVING SIZES! I know that I am very guilty of eating more than the serving size, which isn't necessarily bad, but you have to adjust the numbers accordingly. Good luck with the gains!
  7. If you are trying to gain weight, then you need to be eating about one to two grams of protein per pound of bodyweight. Stick with chicken, steak, salmon, and tuna, those are going to be your best bets. Eat at least six times per day, spread out a few hours apart. And eat a LOT of calories, just make sure it isn't high in carbs or saturated fat.
  8. I've seen some skinny sumo wrestlers. They aren't as popular in Japan as the big guys though. The Japanese (without sounding stereotypical) are very impressed by size.
  9. The fight choreographer invented the crane kick...came up with it on the spot cuz the directors needed a signature move. But he was the only person unvolved with the movie who was a black belt.
  10. Heh...if I said that now, I'd get sued and fired. Can't say anything negative to the kiddies, wouldn't want to damage their developing egos. *sigh* Stupid society.
  11. Whatever, Seven. Yeah, what he said too. Most bodybuilders don't really advocate isolation movements either, except for lagging parts, but even then, when they're packin on mass, its all about the compound movements.
  12. Plyometrics would be best: http://fit4martialarts.com/plyometrics.htm Check that out, but there are plenty of other sites and books. Great stuff, and it not only builds your strength, but your explosiveness, which is exactly what you need.
  13. I'm 5'10...so whatever that is in metric.
  14. Every once in a while its not a bad idea to take the higher ups and say "all right, what do YOU think you need to work on."
  15. You could always try using foundation and powder...that's what us theatre geeks do... ...well, not when we're off stage, but it does work if you know what you're doing.
  16. Curious, why so against BJJ?
  17. I'm going with Treebranch here...most stab victims do not even know they've been stabbed until after the altercation...by then it could be far too late.
  18. Moderate weight lifting isn't too bad at all on the joints. Powerlifting is where you get into trouble, but if you're just going for fitness, you wouldn't worry about getting the biggest one rep max. Stick with a moderate weight, three sets of ten to twelve reps. And don't worry about cutting either...that's bodybuilding, which is a completely different beast.
  19. A wise man once said grappling when a knife is involved is pure fantasy.
  20. Dude, that was downright racist. As for Tyson, give it a rest, the man is way past his prime, Lewis schooled him. Period.
  21. Just out of curiosity, what makes you say he's a "foney" (phoney is the correct spelling, by the way)?
