I only had time to glance over it, but it looks great. -
You simply will not recover physically OR mentally from a bodybuilding session without sleep. Get lots of it. More than you think you need. Sleep in. Go to work late...er...maybe not to that extreme, but yeah, get sleep.

Run. Never do anything unless the weapon is in reach. Put your hands up in surrender, then block quickly to control the weapon, and DON'T LET GO! As you're blocking, simultaneously strike the assailant, then disarm.

In what art? In BJJ, it can be quite a long time between belts (years). In other styles, sometimes its only a few months. Either case, the higher up you go, the longer you wait between belts.

Sounds to me like you over did it. No sweat, we've all done it once or twice. If you're doing heavy weight, you have far too many reps. Might I suggest http://forum.bodybuilding.com. They are a wonderful forum with LOADS of information. Read the stickys there, and ask quesiton. There are a few jerks that will probably do some eye rolls, just ignore them. I'll post more later, I have to get to work. -

Oy veh, that sucks man. Fact of the matter is, nothing you can do will change her mind; she has to change it herself. The best thing you can do (easier said than done) is try to move on as if it is totally over. Pining away over her isn't going to do either of you any good. Does that mean go out and start dating other people? Heck no, that would be foolish. Go out, have fun with your friends. If she wants to get together with you sometime, fantastic, but don't look into it any more than just a friendly get together. Its been my personal experience that you're just setting yourself up if you do that. Anyway, that's my two cents. Regardless, sorry to hear about your situation, hope it clears up to the best possible solution for both of you.

Hmm...wasn't this in the Getting Started forum?

Hey, even I wouldn't advocate going to the ground with multiple opponents, that's just plain silly. However, grappling ability is PARAMOUNT in case you do end up there, and its more likely to happen with multiple attackers. It takes a degree of comfort and talent not to panic down there. Now, I'm not suggesting that you fight and try to stay there, but the fact of the matter is, someone well versed in grappling will have a hell of a lot better chance in getting back up and escaping than someone who doesn't normally fight down there.

Unless you're trainign for strength. I bench 280. There's no way I could do another serious set after only 90 seconds of rest. Pansy. I was thinking in the narrow scope of his particular case. Sorry to exclude all you 1RM and power guys.

Skinny...heh, how does 11% bodyfat sound? I only know this because we were talking about it at the beginning of the day there, but yeah, the kid is skinny. -
Ok, keeping in mind that grappling is my SPECIALTY...I had a freakin orange belt basically take everything I could throw at him, and he wriggled out of it. It was unreal. I threw a triangle choke, flowed into an armbar, and went into an omoplata, and just couldn't lock any of them in. He finally countered the omoplata, and went into a side mount. Match ended in a six minute draw...I've never had THAT much trouble keeping someone in check. Anyone else wanna chime in? Keeping in mind, I wasn't going ENTIRELY all out, but jeez.

I would reccomend not ever resting for more than ninety seconds. You want your muscles to recover SOMEWHAT...but not entirely. You have to tear them down before you can build them back up.
