Yes totally agree with you and that's the reason of my confusion

First of all, it's an honor to inspire you You can do it & even more, I am sure of that the advice that I got from my Sensei is not to exercise at home after the class as muscles need some time to recover. keep me updated and let me know how did you go, we can even update each other with the counts increase

Does anyone know why most of kyokushin practitioner are males ? In my dojo there are 20 members only 1 lady (2nd Dan & she is one of the best and the most aggressive instructors in terms of training) and 19 men!! Anyone has noticed this or has any explanation ??!

Does your club insist on exclusive equipment?
Safroot replied to Harkon72's topic in Equipment and Gear
In my dojo it's preferred to get it from the dojo but not a must as long as you will have the kyokushin symbol on it. -
That's pretty nice video ... first time to see it. Thanks for sharing it

sorry, it might be silly question but I am bit confused. What is the difference between Endurance, Stamina & Body conditioning? How can I improve each ?!!!

That's sound amazing but I think it needs years of practice to achieve, isn't it?! You will get it later, no rush, the best way to try and train it is to partner, one punches either high or low, you have to match their attack but don't know where it will come. Then try throwing random punches at random times. If you can react to most then you are getting there. Don't worry about laughing, you don't always need to take it seriously, especially when you trip yourself up and land on your backside - don't ask me how I know this.... Lol .... I will train hard till I reach it ... Practice & Training seem to be the magic words of MA

Exactly same here but be sure we can do it
-
Same for everyone in every sport. Do it more...everything will slow down for you eventually. I'm sure this will happen one day
-
Lol .. As I told you before .. You are my besr friend

I think pull-ups and chin-ups are very useful for back and arm muscles. In Kyokushin, chin-ups is part of our grading

I always teach that upper torso should be a focal point. In your periphery you can see the arms and legs but, more importantly, any movement will build from the ground upwards and as a result upper chest/torso movement can be very telling of what technique someone is about to throw. 2 mins is a long time, especially when the adrenaline is dumping into your system. At a very basic level, try not to go full pelt for the whole two mins. Feel out your opponent, then go in for a flurry of activity, then come back and reset for a bit. A longer term strategy is to build up the cardio. Start progressively working your way up to 2 full mins of light skipping or jogging. Then mix it up with interval training: say 10 secs of all out sprinting & 20 secs casual jogging. Rinse and repeat for the full 2 mins. Eventually you'll need less and less recovery time. Probably sick to death of me posting these videos but I can't recommend them enough: That looks like a great advice ... I will try it and let you know the results Thank you so much
