That's exactly what I wanted to know .. this is the difference between a beginner & professional eye For me I still don't know how the good sparring is, so I have seen this as a strong one and your opinion was completely the opposite!! So, What good sparring looks like ? Do you have any video showing good sparring so we can compare it to this one ?!!! -
It's kind of for me

Hi Guys, This is the " Kyokushin Karate 10th World Open FINAL " https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=voG_EKxP7F0 It's a strong interesting one .. for a beginner like me I would like to ask everyone for a professional analysis from an experienced MAtist for this match/game (eg: point of weakness & strength for each MAtsit, good/bad techniques, ....etc) All your opinions are much appreciated in advance

I have been reading " Essential Karate " By Mas Oyama .. it's such an amazing book. It starts by how to do a punch through everything till how to deal with street situations (illustrated with pics). I would recommend this book to everyone interested in Kyokushin Karate. Now, it's time to get a new book ... time to decide what's next

Any tips from recovering from Toe injuries? I thought my big toe was just bruises etc but Im suspecting worse at the moment. Still slightly swollen after two weeks and while I can bend it back ok, not so much forward and can be painful to the touch. Im still training but in sparring Im not using that leg at the moment. Prob going to get an xray just to be sure but looking to see how help it along. Im guessing just time and keeping it safe. I recommend checking with your doctor and follow his/her advice

That's right ... Kyokushin is bit different in terms of female practitioners and that's why I initiated this thread ... even on youtube it's very hard to find female kyokushin videos
-
That's an amazing thread actually .. I got really touched and inspired by two posts here ... MasterPain & evergrey ... I know it's a very old thread but it's worth reading
-
That's amazing... Congrats to Zach for passing the first one and hopefully he passes the other 2

Osu That's a tough decision but I have to bow for it

Great post and seems very tempting to try

Thanks Wastelander

IMO ... this is a major factor .. you nailed it.
-
That's a good point of view IMO ... The main reason may be that Kyokushin is a solid style with full contact and it's actually bit more physically demanding than other styles ! not sure may be this is a reason

You may only be a yellow belt, but you've a BB heart in the making!! Stay true to yourself, be honest with yourself as well as others, and train very hard!!
