  1. Lindsay is all lies.. Do you want the truth ? She goes to a McDojo, hell, she can only afford to go once a week it's that expensive. That's why she hasn't made it to black belt yet.. =p
  2. yes, body building is very much a 24 hour job that takes a lot of sacrifice. I know when I ate properly as well as 3 hardcore training sessions a week I dropped the fat and added muscle.
  3. Hey, Patrick I got this when I went to your site : The domain you entered: http://www.sportsforums.net. is over the allowed maximum number of characters
  4. w00t is a term crackers use when they crack into boxes.. She's an uber-cracker, watch out!
  5. It's impossible for us to break law, we can only break ourselves against the law. Today we come across an individual who behaves like an automanton, who does not know or understand himself, and the only person that he knows is the person he is supposed to be, whose meaningless chatter has replaced communicative speech, whose synthetic smile has replaced genuine laughter, and whose sense of dull despair has taken the place of genuine pain. Two statements may e said concerning this individual. One is that he suffers defects of spontaneity and individuality which may seem to be uncurable. At the same time it may be said of him he does not differ essentially from the millions of the rest of us who walk upon this earth.
  6. Hiya, just as a side note... You do know that doing the splits doesn't mean you can kick head height don't you ?
  7. Short term : Improve marks in school, especially in math, physics, software design & development. Get a UAI (university admission index) of over 90. Start training hard and be able to kick head height with no warm up. Long term : Go to University, get a black belt in BJJ and a striking art. Get up to about 90 kgs of muscle, ripped.
  8. Yondan is what number ?
  9. Of course I'd train under a 1st/2nd dan black belt. My last instructor was a black belt, but he probably could have been a first or second dan if he tested. Besides, x dan doesn't necessarily make a good teacher, and people new to martial arts won't understand dan rankings yet.
  10. Now I know why I didn't look at this thread straight away.
  11. The purpose of martial arts is to learn how to fight. Look up martial, likened to war and then art, beauty. Learning to fight includes a lot of things which includes discipline, self-control, etc.
  12. 3 different sports ? How do you suppose to do MA with 3 different sports, one day for training and one day for playing. That one day where you do nothing ?
  13. I think this guy's aggression has come from over a few months of something annoying him. Could be he's jealous you're a better fighter than him or something. As for showing off your MA skills, I can't really comment since I don't see how you act or anything you do that would warrant 'showing [them] off'. When your in close range like that, think elbows & knees especially. From what you tell me he sounds like the macho dude who's ego has gotten the better of him and it's likely he might try something, or he could be just talking himself up saying he's 'after you'.. I'd be ready to fight! And don't hold back, don't be afraid to hit first, if you feel he'll hit you. If you kneed him in the balls, there wouldn't have been a fight.
  14. Have you told 'em about the 'roo you shot last week ?
  15. Hey, hey knew you'd like it! =)
  16. Can't stop you posting, eh ? =)
  17. Movie : The Matrix. Show : I bought a modem. Song : Faget.
  18. Definately, those guys were pussies! I have been in a multiple attack before and they weren't scared, as soon I hit one guy another one was already hitting me.
  19. I'm taking a few a lessons in wing chun to see what it's like.. Looks pretty okay to me, I have a better idea of what it's about I think.
  20. I don't get it.. Kickboxing is way more exciting than boxing as long as it's not muay thai rules and the guys get into the clinch and stay there the whole match. Half of the boxing on TV is utter crap, I think I can box better myself, but it's always different in the ring and when you're facing soneone better than you I guess. I don't mine seeing one guy get his ass kicked though, even though I prefer to see 2 guys going at it hard not giving up. I just can't stand it when 2 guys with no skill get in the ring and last for 10 rounds or whatever... I haven't been watching boxing on TV anymore, but if I know there's kickboxing on, I generally watch that. Kickboxing is way more explosive, exciting and dynamic, I can't understand why people would prefer to watch boxing... though I can understand why people compete in boxing and not kickboxing.
  21. ROFL.... Sounds like a cool job I might take up! =p
  22. lol, sorry, YODA I was careless reading your post..
  23. Also, why are you only training one area of your body and neglecting your chest, legs, back ? The legs are the biggest muscle, so it'd make sense to train them to lose more weight. _________________ It takes sacrifice to be the best. There are always two choices, two paths to take. One is easy. And its only reward is that it's easy. [ This Message was edited by: Bon on 2002-04-08 04:12 ]
