Good point Jack. One other question. Even if you are 14 then you started Martial Arts when you were two. How in god's name does a two year old do Martial Arts? You said a while ago that you could bench press 240. So now you can press 1440? Most of your claims are pretty ridiculous. I won't dispute your claim of being a blackbelt but I do have a general objection to underage blackbelts. Please take the Martial Arts seriously. Did anybody see Bush's speach on thursday? If you did you probably would have noticed that Canada was snubbed on several occassions. I just heard on the radio why. Apparently Chretien was invited to tour the wtc and meet with the president immiediatly. However he declined and went to a party fundraiser instead. Bush took this as an insult (which it was) so he left Canada out of his speech.

A hockey stick has proved very useful on a few occasions and are fairly easy to come by up here. The only difference between a stick and a bo is the blade at the end.

Not all Kyokushin schools follow the guidelines set forth by the governing bodies. The dojo I attend only has 12 katas and they are used mainly as a warm up. We do hit the face and grappling is perfectly legal. All the differences has led to problems at larger tournaments. One of our guys or gals would walk onto the mat break someone's nose since the other person wasn't expecting it. Also chest protectors are mandatory for every one fifteen and under. It's really fun watching someone who just turned sixteen get plowed over by roundhouse in the first couple of seconds.

This is my favorite move because no one expects it. Using my left hand I grap thier right arm/sleave and pull them to one side. When they stick out thier left arm for balance I shove my right bicep into thier left armpit. At the same time I'm tourning and placing my right foot past thier left leg. Finnaly I spin and lift at the same time throwing them over my right leg. In the end they are on thier back with me standing at thier head. Never let go or they could get away. Enjoy

It depends what your looking for. If you are in it for exersize then kickboxing. If you are in it to learn how to fight and are willing to take alot more abuse then Karate.

Moobrack made a good point. In the futur we could all be much stronger and deadlier then today. I say wipe them out and reastablish them as colonies. I don't want to sound racist but the peoples of the world have had thier chance at self goverment and it hasn't worked. They need an all powerful ruling nation to keep them from killing each other. Besides it will all be an American world soon enough. The general concensus up here is were all going to see Canada's absorbtion or union into the United States by the end of our lives. Why are we squabling amongst are selves? I am not saying America isn't a great nation or that we don't need them. I just wanted you to know that your allies have always been by your side when it started to get ugly. Canada and America are like family. Dependant on each other (Canada more so) and contributing to each others culture and country daily. In all fairness Canada has always supported the United States in all it's pursuits. We have never asked for much and we have always showed up when you needed us. In turn the United States has done the same for us.

Try Kosovo, the Gulf, Korea. Not to mention the october crisis. Sadly americans have gotten a reputation worldwide for ignorance. I see a perfect example in your posts. What is your problem? America's allies have contributed to her safety on a thousand occasions. You are right that the US takes the lion share in most military operations but that is part of being the most powerful country on earth. Some one should remind you that while Hitler was raping Europe and Britain stood alone the United States didn't get involved. It took Pearl Harbour to get America into the fight.

It has been reported that Kabul, Afganastan is being attacked with cruise missles and possibly long range bombers. It turns my stomach to see people in the middle east celebrating these attacks. Their entire country should be wiped off the face of the earth. They should all burn in hell.

It was announced today that Saku Koivu has cancer. The 26 year old native of the Finland and the captain of the Montreal Canadiens was rushed to the hospital shortly after arriving in Montreal from Finland. There doctors discovered a tumor in his abdomen. My thoughts and prayers go out to the Koivu family.
