Great example Ninjanurse. We have a instructor who has been teaching us some escrima techniques. After we have learned the technique he would ask us to put the sticks down and apply the technique to empty hand. Very eye opening and a great way to learn transition from one to the other. We also use sai's in the Heian Sandan kata, very fun to do and not a hard transition.

It will return in September for 6 episodes and then go in hiatus for 12 weeks and come back for 17 straight episodes. That's for now but it is subject to change. The 12 weeks hiatus dosn't sound right. I've heard the producers wanted to start the season later in the year so they wouldn't have but a couple reruns but ABC said no.

I guess you can say he was helping him even though they were going to take him and do who knows what with him. I was thinking that the injection was the same as the stuff that Desmond was giving himself. Some where in a later episode Charlie finds a case (I believe it was on the supply pallet they found in the jungle) with the so called medicine in it and gives it to Claire so she can keep giving injections to Aaron. I don't know if I would be giving my son a mystery medicine.

Hey KarateK, The consensus is that all the shows this days try to get at least 100 episodes. That would give "Lost" five seasons. However, ABC is picking up the seasons one at a time so there is no guarantee. As long as we keep watching they'll keep making shows. Ethan was injecting Aaron with something that was supposed to keep him from getting sick. Sick from what or what the illness is, is not known yet.

I have heard that the logo on the shark was put on by some of the post prodution crew and had no real meaning other than causes a huge did you see that from all the fans. I think they were just seeing if we were paying attention.

No, you heard right. Just Zekes way of throwing off Jack and the boys I guess. They captured Michael and are taking him back to their camp. That's where he gets to see Walt for three minutes and the "Others" enlist Michael's help to bring Jack and the gang back to their camp. Oh, come on, you gotta like Kate just a little. For a cute little thing she sure handles herself pretty well. No reunion yet for Alex and Rousseau. Not even sure that Rousseau knows she is still alive. Why did she help Claire? Not answered yet. I was thinking if she can help Claire escape why doesn't she go herself? I guess she was very young when she was taken and maybe that is now the only life she knows. The episode doesn't really explain the exact reason, but it was for Claire's baby Aaron. Ethan appears to be a doctor and he keeps Claire is so drugged up that she thinks she's in a hospital. They even have a nice nursery fixed up for her and everything. He gives her shots in the belly, injecting Aaron with something. Claire must find her way back to the "Staff" to get the vaccine to give Aaron. She's convinced that he is infected. Why do the "Others" take people? A question that hasn't been answered yet. Now that they have Jack, Kate and Sawyer maybe we'll find out more. Hurry up Season Three!!

Actually he does have Michael. He is with some of the "Others" as Zeke is confronting Jack and the gang. Alex is with Michael until she brings Kate out. You see all this in a later episode. Sawyer gives everyone a nickname, some have more than one. Here's a link that shows all the nicknames used and who made them up. There's going to be some bonding going on. You'll get to see a little more of Alex in the episode "Maternity Leave". She helps Claire get away from Ethan. I guess the Jack back-story was meant to show how Jack and Sarah pulled away from each other and why they are no longer together. Just trying to answer some questions that people were wondering about. "How long will it take to train an army!!!!" That was a big line that ending a episode but nothing really ever comes from it. No Army. Michael has instructions to only bring back a certain four people from the camp. So no Army!

Well, in the next episode you'll get to see why Jack and Sarah are no longer together. And you'll also get a up close and personnel with Zeke (the bearded man - real name Tom). I believe this is where you get introduced to Alex for the first time as well. Of course it leaves you wanting more.

That was a good episode. I believe it was called "The 23rd Psalm". Did you notice the images in the black smoke as the camera panned around Mr. Ecko? Some neat stuff in there. The next episode is really good, don't miss it.
