Your momma is so fat that she sat on a rainbow and skittles popped out.

And of course, this "highly skilled kicking specialist" presented his credentials, right? Especially on the internet, there are many people who will try to tear others down to make themselves appear bigger, moreso when it is something they themselves can't do. I wouldn't worry too much about it unless Chuck Norris or similar appears at your door and says "Hey, dude, that kick won't work in real life". Aodhan Bingo...When you put things out there on cyber space for all to see, you are going to attract trolls and keyboard warriors. Looks like you landed one hook, line and sinker. Maybe you can contract with the KF staff, they do a good job keeping out the riff-raff.

Great post. Ditto for the tips especially the good shoes... Good luck.

He just wants to make sure you make 50. The running comes with time, patience and effort. Google beginner running plan and you will see plenty of good ideas out there or go to https://www.runnersworld.com . As far as Sohan's point about excess aerobic activity being counter productive to MA is true, but you are not there yet. Having a goal of being able to go and bust out some quality miles can build both systems especially when you throw in tempo, sprints and hills. The average person who runs for fitness really doesn't have to worry about that.

You have had some positive results, but you need to take it to the next level. I would suggest that you take a look at your diet and then start the cardio for 30-60 minutes, 5 days a week. Running/walking, biking, swimming, tennis, cardio classes etc. will all do the trick. The new US government guidelines recommend 60-90 minutes daily to lose weight. http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/6816952/ Make a commitment to yourself. Good luck.

In Pain / exhausted after training - advice please? =)
Red J replied to Reala's topic in General Martial Arts Discussion
You just have to suck it up and stretch your muscles out the following day. When it gets easier then you will know that you have accomplished something. Its tough getting into shape but it is worth it. Good luck. -
Welcome Angel05GT. Here is a link were you can tell us more about your kempo. http://www.karateforums.com/viewtopic.php?t=15763 You can also do a search in the "karate" section. We have several kempo threads that always start with "Kempo:topic". Good to have you. Red J

You were ready and it would have been over quickly. I'm sure we are all glad that it didn't happen. Ah yes, the shaking hands thing...it takes a couple of minutes for those nerves to go away.

Get down, get funky....Shotochem is back. Congrats on the Shotocub.

I think the obvious choice for bartender would be Desmond.

Doesn't he say, "nottub eht hsup t'nod", Or something like that?

Oh, and we can't leave out the commercial for the Hanso foundation with the interactive website. You can apply for a job with the "good guys". https://www.hansocareers.com

OK, to follow up with some more details and to redeem myself: Desmond meets Jack in the stadium flashback as he prepares for his race to win back his honor. Kelvin's partner's name is Rosinski (sp?). He blews his brains out in the hatch. There is a nice stain on the ceiling. Kelvin (nice pick with the Desert Storm reference, I missed that one) had been wearing a chem suit everytime he left the hatch, telling Des that he would get infected if he didn't have it on. Des saw a cut in the suit and followed Kelvin and saw him take the suit off. Hmmm, no disease. In the jungle after Kate and Sawyer capped the Other, the whispers started and phhhtt, knockout darts were fired to capture the Losties. It was then that the fuzzy movements were shown simular to when the Others were first spotted. Locke is convinced that the Swan was a psych experiment and after conferring with Des, Des is convinced that the Pearl was the experiment. The Losties possibly confirm this by stumbling upon the mountain of canisters that were at the end of the pneumatic tube that was supposedly "HQ". Detailed journals were found detailing surveillance of the Swan station. There was a tremendous amount of information given out last night. I am going to have to watch it again.

You don' t even want to know about this one.

Snake Style
Red J replied to MizuRyu's topic in Kung Fu, JKD, Wing Chun, Tai Chi, and Chinese Martial Arts
Don't forget that the snake is rooted and strikes with extreme accuracy to vital areas as well as the grappling and seizing that you mentioned. -
That's the Island's power...over you.....

I purposely stay off the Lost forums. It was taking some of the fun out of it. I will only go there to clarify a point, not for spoilers. Enjoy the suspense.

I think what you are seeing now is a more independent Villari's school with more quality control. The others split or just couldn't make it. So your last sentence is correct IMO.
-
Well, I think that Jin has picked up and gained in the English department for sure. Then there is Locke and Rose. Hmmm, I don't want to be a spoiler. Let's just say that certain things are enhanced on this island. Who ever really thought that Ana Lucia would have a soul? Alright, I've said too much.
-
Well, don't think that this is a mistake. Other Losties have gained more than than that. More will be revealed.

Great Job! -
Even Chuck Norris at age five could whip the universe. Don't you know his tears cure cancer...but he has never cried.

If you want to get size, I wouldn't worry about a few extra pounds for now. It's not easy to stay cut and then add extra mass to your arms and chest. The way to go is to pump up the protein like A and S suggested.

This is a story for the ages for all parents. There is no greater feeling than seeing your kid succeed and even better yet, you being there. Now that's the real story, the story of a dad being there for his son to share that great moment. Congratulations.
