It is processing information. Sometimes it gets bogged down. Doesn't nessecarily happen at any specific time. Usually it is just the computer doing its thing. If it does it constantly though. Like non stop you may need something replaced.

Why do you think your stlye is effective?
BlueDragon1981 replied to TJS's topic in General Martial Arts Discussion
Because it is versitile. We add anything that works for the individual if not they do something else. We teach strinking, joint locks and small amounts of grappling. Its well rounded. -
I would say that Dell has the best commercials and I would also say they all s!@# at customer and technical support. Just my opinion on that part. I myself Have a Dell and it edges HP. I actually since I'm a computer dork would prefer to build my own, but if were to go with a brand it would be Dell.

Peace be with the 7 crew members and the prayers and thoughts to their families. God will judge us all no matter what form he is thought to be. To anyone who condones violence you will be judged in the end also

For all who own or run a school
BlueDragon1981 replied to kenpo4life's topic in Instructors and School Owners
Those are good suggestions monkeygirl. Definatly check the laws. Most things I have found don't require any special requirements. I have looked into them myself many states don't have any laws dealing with Martial Arts Businesses. Check into it though that was last year when I was looking around the laws. As for the fees you have to check out how much it is going to cost you to run the school and tailor them to that. Of course you will probably want a profit. 1. Monthly contracts work for a lot of schools. 2. Some do yearly although I would not recommend without a refund policy. 3. Single class fees are also good but you have to have them sign any contracts about insurance and all that just like any other student has to. I would recommend setting up different plans. Single Class Fee Monthly Fee 3 Month Fee 6 Month Fee 1 Year Fee Of course giving some savings for the longer they sign up. Registration Fees are also done at some schools Many have one time fees of anywhere between 15 to 50 from what I have seen, due at the beginning of each year. Well I hope this helps. -
I agree. Talk to your instructor. I know what you mean by the stress...2 kids, going to college, have a job, family issues arising...and I'm only 21. Honestly though if I didn't have martial arts I would have gone nuts by now. Just hang in there. Talk it out with your instructor.

The benefit of the style I study is its aiki locks and basics in striking (kicking, choping, punching, etc.). It is also open to let new techniques in. Not closed like some styles. There is not an emphasis on fighting but self-defence. Which is different. Well Rounded system pretty much. Doesn't excel in any particular area though. (Grappling, Striking, etc.)
