  10. really? i know shotokan has techniques that can be used on the ground but i find we dont have speceific things we are told to do, only apply what we know as oppose to jiu-jitsu where they know exactly what to do, iam not talking about shotokan in any bad way though because i take and love it
  11. Well actually i think i said a wrong word or somthing because iam a very very hard worker and nicer than it seems, the attitude i write with is not something i would use in real life. Just to clear things up

  13. well since a concealed knife in canada is illegal i usually just dont bring a weapon at all, i feel comfortable enough using no weapons to defend myself in a real situation I think generaly alot of people knew that everything is a weapon so i dont include that in my post.... :-?but it is a good point that should be brought up
  14. very good point, however i dont plan for people to listen or respect me but hey nobodys perfect right?Ill work it out But i would like to know what that expression meant?about the chip
  15. Well do your basics over and over. Hit the punching bag, try to improve your footwork also
  16. I totally agree, as an example i have a friend that is a practitioner of ju-jitsu and hes very skilled at it. I was surprised how easily he was able to win once he got a grip on me, at a distance i won but ive learned how effective it really is!
  17. White Warlock I think another factor that can over rule mistakes percentage in a fight is knowledge...if someone does perfect in their martial art but has only reached the rank of 6th kyu, then someone who takes another martial art and is a 2nd dan then even if he messes up he can still throw a technique at someone and pull it off... But for the poll id would vote training program now that i read the post, but instead i voted a real fight because i got ahead of myself lol
  18. I like it and its similar to my thoughts, the only one problem i had with it was where it says the rear leg/hand generates more power than the front leg/hand, my theory on that is ill generate as much power as i want to and i dont care about any laws of anything, sometimes i find science very limiting and alot more can be achieved when it is pushed aside for a second or two.
  19. All of them, however id probably end up running for short distance and then continue...
  20. Ill do which way suits myself best i think
  21. then there are probably some more kata that i havnt heard of then yet....
