  3. flexers with legs slightly bent and lower abs with legs straight if I recall correctly, which is not a certainty!
  4. Well, chinups mainly work the Biceps and shoulders, and Pushups mainly work the Triceps chest and upper back, and situps work the abs, so yes that seems good enough Adding some leg raises however wouldn't go a miss!

  6. I strongly dislike Lil' Bow Wow, havn't even heard of the other kid. They're probably both 12 anyway, and don't sing, and have computers doing the music for them. Go listen to some real music! (no offence, here's a bow )

  8. Thank you a lot for your input rushman, it's really appreciated I was giving this some thought yesterday and I am beginning to understand most of it, except the 'nature' fundamental. I really am at a loose end with this, although I am beginning to understand the others. I see all of the fundamentals work together, since the art is a flexible system wherein the leaders employ the Tao. And the situation is obvious enough. But nature really has me at a loose end so any help with this would be appreciated. PS. Thanks again Rushman!

  10. Why yes, me and a friend do sparring as practice, and hit the bags and practice self-defence moves together. He trains himself in anything and I do Tae kwon Do so we learn off of each other. Basically, consider it a way to spend the afternoon with someone else to both have fun and to learn. Me and a friend just spar for a while to try techniques and patterns and set goals just like Ken said. We find application for different moves and good counters etc. Its good practice, good news to me that someone is starting doing this
  11. Moobrack, it's OK. I looked around on the net a while, and besides I got a new set of weights yesterday with a massive exercise charts. I'll vary the exercises each workout to keep stimulating muscle to grow

  13. I once got a trojan in my earlier days on computer when I was not so skilled with them, bugger to get rid of. I never open .exe's from unknown people anyway
  14. The other day I got R.L. Wing's translation of Sun Tzu's classic, the art of war. I am currently thinking about the first section, on the five fundamentals of strategy... I need a little help clarifying a few points if you wouldn't mind Therefore, calculate a plan with the five working fundamentals, And examine the condition of each. The first is Tao. The second is Nature. The third is Situation. The fourth is Leadership. The fifth is art. The Tao inspires people to share in the same ideals and expectations. Hence, because they share in life and share in death, The people do not fear danger. Nature is the dark or light, the cold or hot, and the Systems of time. Situation is the distant or immediate, the obstructed or easy, the broad of narrow, and the chances of life or death. Leadership is intelligence, credibility, humanity, courage, and discipline. The art is a flexible system wherein the view(master) and its officials employ the Tao. These are the five fundamentals of strategy, and although I have given it much thought I am still at a blank on understanding these in a usable way. If anybody here has studied the Art of War, mabye they could give me a nudge in the right direction. I still want to think myself but I'm a bit stuck here! Please give me a hint

  16. hmmm, well, when I'm not practicing my TKD or working out, I'll go on the net or go out and meet my friends, or go play Tennis or swim down at the sportspark. Nothing that exctravagent I know

  22. Sorry I made it sound worse than it really is in my earlier post... I can actually run sometimes I just have to play it by ear, some days its bad others its not. It's just growing pains, they will get better sometime this year I should think

  24. Slim, I have similar knee pains, however I have had them for the last 4 months... they're growing pains for me and they hurt at knees and ankles where the bones still grow. I have to really watch my exercise, infact I have simply reached the stage where I do not run, it hurts too much. I have to find other ways of leg exercises such as biking... and I would do rowing machine but my gym won't let someone of my age in
