  1. Oh, man! A few people at my dojo have put holes in walls and mirrors with bo staffs, pads, and, I'm assuming, their limbs. I, myself, have not done this, but it's funny that I'm seeing this here since, today, I kicked a wooden chair out of anger here at home and splintered it... I'm going to tell my mother that I was practicing kata and got too close to the chair... *sweat sweat*

  12. Hello, everyone! I'm in desperate need of some help! In 3 weeks, I have a very important dance and would like to look a bit more toned than I do now. I do exercise everyday, but without cardio along with it, I know it's not that useful. I do practice karate three times a week for 45 minutes, so I am getting some cardio. My biggest issue would be toning my flabby INNER thighs, as well as my lower ab muscles. Could anyone please prescribe some exercises that would help me tone these muscles groups quickly? Much appreciated!

    Harassment

    Interestingly, I don't tend to tell many people that I train in karate in order to avoid any sort of harrassment. E.g., some nut coming up to me, demanding to see some moves, or worse, trying to attack me.

  23. Hmmm... Put simply, I think that perseverance stems from confidence, which is nurtured in us.
  24. Noone is unbeatable. But, yeah, sounds like a cool exerience. I agree; it's just that no one has beaten him in sparring YET. There's still a chance!
