  1. what does make a 6 or 4 pack vivible? i talked to people who do crunches and they said it works.
  2. at my school we play different types of capoiera games. we play a little bit of angola, bengela, and son bento grande (im not sure on the spelling on these). son bento grande is the fast game that would probably be the most useful ina fight. its not always a good idea to go to the floor too long in a real fight situation. if you think capoiera isnt good as a fight, thats when of its strong points, its deceiving ways.
  3. yeah, thats when i thought when he got them, he has 90 days with it, so if it doesnt work, im telling him to return it. now, by cardio, do you mean doing stuff like running? because i think my capoiera exercises(rolling on the floor kartwheels all those things cover that). im just curiuos what it means. and crunches dont help your abs? by doing them alone i mean, not witha machine.im not sure how to do hanging leg raises, my back hurts when i do those if im doing it right. and sorry, one more question, but what type of diets do you use? thanks a lot
  4. my brother just got the ab lounc 2, its a cahir thing that you lay on and keep crunching your body back in forth. has anyone heard about this and know if it hurts? thanks.

  6. ive been doing 3 sets of 45 crunches and then 3 sets of 13 leg lifts,( when i stop the leg lifts, my back hurts a little) i take a minute between each. If i put a round weight of 10 pounds, is that bad for my back? aslo, i feel a little bit of pain in my arsm after push ups and i do crunches right after so i feel a sharp pain, everytime i wait a while though, the pain goes away. is there a way i can get diseases like arthritis or something by lfiting wieghts and stuff? thanks a lot

  10. Affect of American Revolution on political ideas and Institutions. This is my essay question, I will take the essay in lcass, but he gave it to us beforehand i guess so we know what to study. im nto sure what he means by institutions, schools i guess? ANyone ahve any ideas or stips on this? its a college cours,e but im ony in high school so its pretty hard i got some ideas so far. thanks.
  11. matt, get a temporary tattoo (something will come out in like 3 days) and see if u like it. id get something like a flag that represents ur country or the cross, but not exactly on my ankle.
  12. im in capoiera and there is a lot of smiling in that. my teacher says its a way of hiding ur moves. plus when im sparring, its having fun so i smile.
  13. im in junior year of high school adn there r alot of carreers im trying to get soem information on. one of them is a doctor, im not sure wat typ,e non eof that surgery crap. wat do u have to do to ebcome a doctor, wat areas of science do u have to study? chemistry, physics? thanks.
  14. that takes a lot of practice. probably th ebest to start off with though is to do a handstand agaisnt the wall, and do push ups that way so u can build off ur shoulders since its really ur shoulders which will be a huge part in holding urself ina handstand. after that, u just have to practice the old fashion way by putting ur hands on the ground, and throwing ur legs up to try and hold urself. it takes lot of practice. they also say to fall over the first time so u lose the fear, but make sure u can hold urself with ur arms when u fall so u dont hit ur neck and back. hope that helps.
  15. last week i was in capoiera class and i felt this small pain on the right side of my neck it didnt really bother me too much and jsut hurted when i did exercised. the next capoiera class it still hurt when i again did capoiera. now on this last tuesday, i went to class but stopped becasue i couldnt do anything becasue of the pain (it wasnt really too painful, but when i would do cartwheels, and handstands, it would hurt) i missed thursdays lesson, and today there is anothr capoiera lesson, i havent exercised since tuesday except for running but thats becasue i didnt think it would hurt the neck. wat happened first off to my neck? i think its becasue of lifting weights and capoiera (i used to lift 20 pounds thumbells and started a little on 25) do u think im ready for today? advice would be much appreciated. thanks alot and u guys have a nice day.
  16. yes, capoiera is fighting while dancing in a way. u not suppose to block but rather dodge. there r grapples in capoiera, but predmontally its strikes. im my class u wear a uniform similar to that of otehr martial arts like karate or jujuitsu and instead of a belt, it has a rope. the lyrics to the songs posted r there becasue capoiera theres a lot of singing/ when u do the roda which is a circle with two people fighting inside, there is singing from the people outside the roda, and instruments playing. hope i can be of help.
  17. ton https://www.capoiera link, if u scroll down, and see a magazine that says Bom Jesus, thats my teacher, he is amazing. capoiera is a dance, martial arts, spiritual thing, many things. to compete, u go in the roda to fight others. its very fun adn u get into very good shape if dedicated. i began like 4 months ago, if anyone has questions, ill try to help if i can.
  18. someone told me that weights when u get used to them, u do them everysday. someone else told me push ups u can do everyday becasue they do not require as much force. i guess as long as ur body is not tired, u can do them, im not an expert on this though.

  20. thanks a lot for the replies. im still not sure on somethings. wat is obligues? and i heard crunches jsut hlep on the upper abs, but im not sure on that one. any by tention u mean making the abs shake or soemthing? by diets, is something like sjtu eatimg meat good? thanks.
  21. i am doing 30 crunches, waiting a minute, and repeating this 3 2 more times. then after i try adn do leg lifts(i really hope i am doing them right) 15 times, wait a minute and then repeat 2 more times. am i doing this right? on average how long will ti take to get my abs in good shape(the ripped ab thing) do i need to do more than 3 sets? evne though 3 sets tires me. is there a certain diet i should do to help not the jsut the abs but other parts of bodies get better? thanks a lot.

  23. yeah, becasue since BJJ is a grappling and ground martial arts, i can use capoeira as a standing and striking martial arts. sorry for not being specific, thats what i meant.
