The justice system is blind? Probably "poked" in the eyes. One eye "poked" from the Lawyers. The other "poked" by the judges who rule crazy. And Clinton just wanted to "poke" Madam Justice.

Hands considered deadly weapon?

Officer gcav, How long have you been a LEO? (oops, did mean to sound like a astrological sign..heh heh) In our self defense class this is discussed time and time again, along with the legal issues of force, which in both discussions we bring in LEOs, AAL s(Attorneys At Law) and PPs(Practicing Pshychologists). Gone, are high kicking, other methods, and the Gi in these sessions. -

We did this with a strobe light...... "Shadows....don't hit back"...was it "Boards...don't hit back"?

No, just your own style- the way you understand and use your art. There is a difference. Good point

delta1, From doing exhaustive reserach, which I had been for decades, I started posting to take a break from a lot of things. Soon I will return to routine. Then, you will "see" less of me. I have opened mind many times, as it was crudely closed upon my discoveries. And up til now, it is "specualtion", from my experiences, that it exists. My mind is still open, if you read my last lines on the subject:

We do a "hop" or skip, in one of our tactics. Feet are shuffled or leave the grown milli-seconds. Adds extra power from momentum and gravity. But, if you miss the target, you could loos balance. To train this, the instructor would hold a shield/target. We would "spring" with that punch/strike. At random, the instructor would move he and the shield. We had to learn to compensate quickly. -
True, in some instances: "If you don't USE IT...you'll LOOSE IT"

I agree because I had my first-timers (tournament) do this. It alleviated anxiety...stage fright, etc. Thank YOU for the post -
"You need to find the proof yourself and to your personal satisfaction. " Which is what I keep doing. You show me one....... Telling or witnessing a demo is not specific enough. I'll witness it and try to tear it apart. I cant say it exists, but for each time I think it does, I see and prove otherwise. Thus, disgusts me further and I keep searching. So far I have not....so I am not satisfied... So I keep aproaching it. So I say it again: Until then I can still hold some doubt or skepticism. I keep researching....my book is not closed on it

wing chun kuen man Th best way to find out about chi is to find an AUTHENTIC Chi Kung teacher and take some classes with him for at least a few months if not years. Discussing chi in a public forum becomes pointless as everyone has differente ideas to what it is based on their own experiences and beliefs. I thought you still had an open book on the subject Yes, you are right. So far, everyone that I met and they did these demos, did not convince me. I had proven their methods to be mere tricks from conditoning and staging. My book is still open until I find such a "master"..... Until then I can still hold some doubt or skepticism.

Christianity and the whole "ki" issue
47MartialMan replied to nathanjusko's topic in General Martial Arts Discussion
The unbendable arm is bendable..... I bended many that say that did this. It is NOT KI. And in your words, It's just focusing mentally to be able to do incredible things physically. Hence the key word for Chi/Ki....focus.....mental psyche out Another name Psyche (sike) -
Show me a Chi master taking punches to the neck. I'll show you a guy whom conditioned his neck, and you can visually see. Also a punch to the neck is not as penetrating as other strikes, and objects for that matter. Same with that "spear to throat trick" If is Chi is so master, let me demonstrate on him. Stop believing and start thinking....
