  1. Oh on a side note. I never been to any real big tournaments. Is it that bad in forms to the point a nice traditional with some flash kata won't beat an all XMA kata? If so that's garbage and my goal is to go to an US Open and do traditional with some flash using my athletic ability and beat a straight XMA kata.
  2. Dang now I know why this hasn't been brought up since I been a member. I love to watch it because it takes training and practice and dedication to be able to do the moves that are in this. Now Capoeira has a lot of those moves but are in use for more than just show. I would learn it after knowing I have a solid foundation as a pure Martial Artist. Taking this first and foremost I couldn't do. I would only learn flash but with no substance. Now you guys got my mind working, I'm wondering how many of those they showed on Discovery and those who do XMA are good martial artist? hmmmm....
  3. Yeah he's tight I love the flipping of the beard.
  4. Ummm not too sure about that^^. Wasn't he one of Bruce's students also? Ed was great as was Mike Stone and Chuck back in those days. Bill Wallace great but only used his left leg.
  5. foreveryoung001: That was great and I 100% agree with you. It's about the love and some of our fellow brothers and sisters that say they live for Christ are missing the entire whole point.
  6. I lost interest in MK also. But when I played the last one I was happy. One button and you can switch styles to using a weapon.
  7. Yeah I figured to those. I do them but just not enough reps and sets. I should be more consistant. Thanks guys.
  8. I want to be able to hold myself up with ease on my hands. Walk, spin, and whatever for Capoiera purposes. What are some good excersises?
  9. Deception is supposed to come out this month not sure when. But who player Deadly Alliance? Game is sick with the way you can switch styles. Deception is supposed to be way better than that one. Also be on the lookout for Dead or Alive Ultimate and in Feb. Tekken 5.
  10. Scroll down the page and read the two other threads about JKD. They will give you insight on JKD and maybe links or locations to schools.
  11. I see thanks for the history lesson I didn't know Ninjas were from Japan. So in Last Samurai those were Ninjas then? I would like to check out that Shinobi, but were can I find it?
  12. Go read the post "Looking for a JKD school" or something to that nature in this forum. I posted a paragraph about what Bruce said about JKD. Also I posted the link to the entire documentary Bruce Lee wrote on JKD. Not a very long read but you'll understand JKD isn't a style or a certain system, though Bruce had his own personal methods. The methods he used were for his expression as a martial artist, but your expression will be totally different. Your foundation is TKD Bruce's was Wing Chun.
  13. I don't know what you mean? But anyway I know the Iron Monkey was a ninja. Explain though wrong country I'm not a Ninja expert.
  14. Got me a pair coming in the mail!!!
  15. I haven't watched too many good Ninja movies or many Ninja movies period. Everyone post some so I can go check them out. Heres some that I have watched. Iron Monkey=great American Ninjas=not so great That movie with Christopher Lambert were he's in the wrong place at the wrong time???=Great movie Don't say the Turtles though I like 1 and 2
  16. What movie is that^ Shinobi? Oh and I should be slapped for forgetting these films. The whole Matrix trilogy.
  17. Yeah I know what you mean about Blade. I like Wesley though he's a great fighter. He needs to put on another Masters of the Martial Arts shows. He gathered all those masters and had all those demonstrations on National TV. That was awesome because we were exposed to so much of the Martial Arts.
  18. My favs I mainly go by the fighting not the like of the movie in whole. Enter the Dragon (of course) Chinese Connection Return of the Dragon Only the Strong Best of the Best Iron Monkey Drunken Master Rush Hour 1 and 2 (though not much martial arts) The Chuck Norris movie with Bill Wallace Any scenes with Donny Yen (since they don't give him many parts) Kiss of the Dragon Rumble in the Bronx Original Game of Death last fight scenes Fight scenes in Dragon the Bruce Lee story I cannot forget THE LAST SAMURAI Bourne Identity fight scenes, Supremacy didn't have none Mission of Justice Blood Sport, when I was young Kickboxer 1, actually had the real Tong Po he was a beast.
  19. Blade 2 was nothing like it should have been. I don't know what they were doing but it could have been better. I hope 3 recovers the series.
  20. I emailed on Sunday man. But he's responded so I hope to get a hookup.
  21. Blade Trinity is coming out. I wish more good martial art films would arise.
