Change is inevitable, but out attitude isn't

Welcome -
About the middle I believe. However, spinal cord is spinal cord no matter how far up or down you go. An it wasn't just break. Wolverine's claws cut through it completely.

Well I posted this on one forum so may well most it here!

Ohhhhhhh yeah, they're fun. You are right, the techniques just keep getting more interesting. -
Geesh, Now I'm gunna have to go down to the basement and dig through the ol' boxes.

I don't know. I still like Barbara Bach , regardless of the story. The one I hate, I mean absolutely HATE is whichever one had Timothy Dalton. Was that License to Kill? Uhhhhhhhhhhh, he made Bond seem like such a wuss.

Wow, my appologies. I must not have seen your note when you posted it. Welcome. I hope all went well with your test. My first master used to say the only two things you need to get a black belt from the yellow stripe is patience and perceverance. -
With that, I'm going to close this thread. This is a Korean Arts forum. The purpose is for Korean stylists to discuss those arts, as they are the ones practicing them. This is not a forum to come in and critisize them.

Page for which? Sabertooth's recovery (Age of Appocolipse) Xavier's notes on how to neutralize Wolverine (Onslaught)
-
Sorry, but that's not totally accurate either. Wolverine severred Sabertooth's spine in Age of Appocolipse, and he recovered from it. The only way to defeat Wolverine permanently, as stated waaayy back, is to remove his head completely, and dispose of them seperately.

if someone pulled a gun on you
SBN Doug replied to sansoouser's topic in General Martial Arts Discussion
Sorry, I can't vote. There's no cut and dry answer. If they were in the process of pulling it out, AND I was close enough, I would probably fight. If they were already able to get it out, OR I was too far away, I would either: Hold completely still and give them what they wanted or Run, but only if they didn't have a clear shot (i.e. I could duck behind something or I had enough distance on them already.) -
Oh yeah, I think you're ready to rock. If you don't want anything violent, all the "Sims" titles are a hit with my teen and almost teen. Sim City Sim Theme Park Sim Zoo The Sims The Battlefield 1942 is a first person shooter, but not blood and gore like so many others. I approved my almost teen to play it. I'll never let them have Diablo, Duke Nuke'em, etc.

I don't know if I'd call it praise. "That's better" or "looks like you're improving on that". More possitive feedback than what I consider praise.
-
Definately, yes. I take an art that allows me to defend and subdue, if that's what I choose. No one seems to have an issue with that use of my MA.

First off, as already stated, give us the tech info on it. If you want to play any of the high end, 3D, first person type games, you better have a high end video card in there that's specifically designed for gaming. they will range in price from $70-$250 U.S. My son had intermittent problems with his Flight Simulator, and his SimCity$ and Battlefield 1942 wouldn's run at all. Turned out, we just needed a better vid card with the extra Ram right on it. Now it works great.

McMaster? That flows really good! I think that one could catch on.

Welllll, you didn't mention that before. From a Christian standpoint, then I wouldn't feel uncomfortable. If you guys have been tight for a while, then why not. I change my vote to "Do it".

Done. As far as elaborating; MAs has given me the confidence to take chances and try new things (as detailed in the other thread). It has also given me the drive to always want to be challenged, no matter what the situation or outcome.

At the moment I'm an Information Systems Coordinator for the Environmental, Health, & Safety department at my company's corporate headquarters. I started off as a 12hr rotating shift QC chemist in Houston. I took a pay cut (no overtime) to move to straight days, where I was able to go through a lot of additional training, including a lot of ISO9000 (quality standard). I was playing around with Access, and created a new database for our result entry. This impressed them enough to get me on the LIMS (Laboratory Information Management System) project. Once completed, I could tell I was too experienced for that position any more, and no sign of an opening above me, so I changed companies. I got a job as Chief Chemist and QC Manager, where they were just putting in a LIMS and SAP systems. With my background, and the absence of anyone else that did, I became know through the site and corporate for my work on these projects. Unfortunately, they decided to close my plant. However, I had made enough of an impression that they guarnateed me a job at corporate. Now I'm doing mostly systems, but even this is only an excuse to learn all I can about EH&S and then move on again. I am working toward becomming a Plant Manager, and possibly higher some day. Moral of my story, never stop learning new things, and sometimes you have to take a half step back in order to make two steps forward. Good luck

Didn't have a lot of self confidence, and was laid back and quiet to the extreme. I've got a lot more confidence, more outgoing, not scared to take chances and make mistakes (as long as I learn from them). Has helped me considerably in my professional career.
-
Well, personally I'd feel a little wierd doing it. But if I did, I'd address him by title & name, to make it more formal.

Yep, regular belt can be used just as good. Just make sure you're not wearing those "loose fit" jeans before you drop trou.

IMO backfist is great. There are a number of grabs we counter a hand strike with, that makes a backfist an easy and fast mode of attack.
