Maybe your taking it to the extreme, if you do that too much you will easily burn yourself out. I still don't think its wise to take on extreme schedules even if you can do it.. eventually its going to kick your butt. I don't see how you couldn't be sore after that!

Even an 18 year old is a bit extreme, not all 18 year olds are the same. A lot of people are very immature and C O C K Y. If you want to pay some kid to teach you then thats your problem not mine. I would take lessons from a seasoned black belt any time. I still think its best to be taught by a professional rather than some kid that can kick fast and do fancy things. Did somebody say McDojo™ Sorry Bud, but I think that a younger person instructing is out of the question. I, nor most people, didn't pay 70-100 bucks a month to be taught by some kid. We came to be taught by the professional that started the school. You shouldn't be in a position of instructing others, maybe giving tips and helping out beginners, but not instructing upper belts. If that was the case in the school where I went I would leave and find a better place. This did happen to me in a Judo school once, and I did leave.
