thanks for your replys.........i see you guys have done your homework by reviewing the above responses............. CHANGWUJI........thanks for your respectfull insight.......... NEILOO92...........all those things you mentioned are good but there is no substitute for sparring with a partner for timing...my suggestion is to start slow to regain your coordination and to work on combinations. then over time, speed up as those things return to you arsinal............

CHRIS FROM CT.... AIKIDO is a japanese martial art often confused with hapkido due to it's similar name and oriental origins. aikido was delveloped as a non-violent method of defense stressing non-resistance, joint manipulation, and the study of ki energy. HAPKIDO is the way of coordinated power. non-competitive korean martial art which stresses non-resistance, circular motion, and a strong kicking and striking techniques. -

too true KICKCHICK............ i have the same problem of being so called too nice...but i have not given up (and i'm a little older) because someone out there wants a nice guy and not the bad boy types that seems to always get the ladies..............remember GOLDDRAGON.......being nice is not a curse but a blessing.................. ....if you really want true love it's well worth waiting for. patience is admirable trait........ _________________ rushman (taekwondo moderator) 3rd dan wtf/kukkiwon [ This Message was edited by: iamrushman on 2001-10-10 15:23 ] -
