i participated in a demo yesterday....... it had been a while, but after the first board it seemed like it was yesterday. the breaks i did were with boards in front and back of me: 1) 360 axe kick followed by a reverse side kick. 2) front kick with a step spinning heel kick. just thought i would reintroduce this subject after such a rush of energy from the demo.

one of my favorites when trying to show off kicking skills is the windmill kick using the roundhouse..........because of terminology problems i will try to descibe it....... something like this: roundhouse break with a backward 360 degree jumping roundhouse break....try that, it is always impressive..... .the crecent kicks is the one used on TV all the time. oh yea; wear a witches outfit for this one. _________________ rushman (taekwondo moderator) 3rd dan wtf/kukkiwon [ This Message was edited by: iamrushman on 2001-10-25 20:38 ]

Judo throws in Hapkido
iamrushman replied to Hapkidodude's topic in TKD, TSD, Hapkido, and Korean Martial Arts
HAPKIDO is the way of coordinated power stressing non-resistance, circular motion, and strong kicking and striking techniques. i was taught with the water principle.......with the properties of water being that of flowing, subtle power with a seeming intuition for any opening or weakness.......total penetration of an enemy's defenses.........water represents patience. this was my teachings of hapkido....... -
