  1. Florida goes to NYC and scores twice in the third to win 3-2, taking a 3-2 series lead with a chance to win on home ice and advance Saturday night at 8pm eastern on ABC and ESPN+. Both Dallas and Edmonton have a chance to take a 3-2 series lead on Friday night. That game can be watched on TNT and TRUTV starting at 830pm eastern. Historically the team that wins game five in a 2-2 series goes on to win the series 79 percent of the time.
  2. Seems a little early for the press conference. Two months before the fight? Is this normal in boxing or are we being treated to another new wrinkle in the fight game? What are the current betting odds that Tyson will get hungry and starting eating Paul's ear?
  3. Oilers win game four and tie the series at two. Game five in Dallas on Friday night. Could we see both conference finals go seven games?? It is very rare. Off the top of my head I can't recall it ever happening. OK, I think the last time was 2000, so it is not as rare as the Sabers winning the cup, but still, that is rare. Ironically, I think that was the last time the Stars made it to the Stanley Cup finals. How much longer before corporate sponsors get involved and the trophy is renamed "Stanley's Reese's Peanut Butter Cup." And the celebration will be you can only eat Reese's out of the cup. Gotta ground em up and fill the bowl to the top, then eat em with a spoon. Party time.
  4. Steel Panther - 1987
  5. Did anyone watch the press conference?
  6. Third consecutive overtime game between NY and Florida, this time the Panthers get the win and tie the series at two as it goes back to MSG on Thursday. Dallas flipped that game three around in Edmonton after falling behind 2-0 and has a chance to go up 3-1 in the series Wednesday night, let's see if the Oilers can win and tie that up also as the two series have somewhat mirrored each other so far.
  7. Aerosmith - Rag Doll
  8. Carrie Underwood - Something in the Water
  9. Guns N Roses - Knocking on Heaven's Door
  10. Wild game 3 as the Rangers win 5-4 in overtime, taking a 2-1 series lead and regaining home ice advantage. Game 4 is Tuesday in Florida at 8pm Eastern, again on ESPN and ESPN+
  11. Dallas bounces back, wins game two and ties the series 1-1. Game 3 will be Monday at 830 eastern in Edmonton. It will air on TRUTV and TNT.
  12. Rangers win game two 2-1 in overtime, series tied 1-1. Game 3 is Sunday at 3pm eastern, in Florida. Saturday night is game 2 in the west as the Stars try to tie it up.
  13. Pitbull - On the Floor
  14. Oilers win 3-2 in 2OT, take game one in Dallas. Game 2 is Saturday at 8pm eastern on TNT and TRUTV. As pointed out earlier in the thread by aurik, it is tough to win a series when losing an early series game in double overtime. I'm interested to see how Dallas responds. In the ECF last year Florida beat Carolina in 4OT, in game 1, in Carolina, and went on to sweep the series. Game 2 of Florida @ New York is Friday on ESPN and ESPN+
  15. Dream Theater - Panic Attack
  16. I think if I could go back and change anything about my health decisions from the past, the first thing would be to drink a lot less alcohol. Not only is it bad for your health to consume large amounts, but it gets expensive, especially if you are ordering it in bars or nightclubs. Several possible long-term health effects of prolonged excessive drinking are liver damage, stroke, high blood pressure, stomach cancer, and higher risk for diabetes. In the short term - the hangover is enough for me to quit. The older I get the longer it takes to recover. Any enjoyment I get from drinking tonight will become regret when I am hung over tomorrow.
  17. Florida takes game one of the series, Game 2 is Friday at 8pm eastern.
  18. Excellent. I hope they win the cup.
  19. Guns N Roses - You Could Be Mine
  20. Rangers and Panthers will start on Wednesday, Stars and Oilers on Thursday. It looks like everyone's teams on this forum have been eliminated, so is there any interest in the rest of the playoffs?
  21. Happ birthday (or is it anniversary?) and congratulations!
  22. The Woman in Me by Britney Spears
  23. The NHL final four is set. NY Rangers vs Florida and Dallas vs Edmonton.
  24. Oilers win 5-1, force a game 7 that will be Monday night on ESPN.
  25. Dallas wins 2-1 in double overtime to advance, Florida defeated Boston by the same score in game six and moves on. Dallas and Florida return to the NHL final four as both made it last year.
