Anyone run into any problems training within the first week of a fresh tattoo? Contact with the tattoo or rubbing against the uniform could lead to irritation or infection, anyone had any experience with this?

I predict O'Malley is going to take it. Vera won the first fight but that was over three years ago. I think it's a great fight with O'Malley winning by TKO in the 4th or 5th round. Wouldn't be surprised if it went the distance though. I'd like to see Holland, Burns, and Poirier win. Those are not predictions just rooting interest. I've never seen a UFC card I had more interest in from top to bottom, even several of the prelims I am excited for. Looking forward to Saturday!

Agreed that it is very tough. I feel the west is wide open. If the playoffs started today I would put the Oilers as the favorite, but Vancouver has had a strong year, so has Winnipeg, Dallas, and Colorado, and of course Vegas is still the defending champion. It's going to be an interesting playoff as it always is. In the east Florida has been playing out of their minds the past six weeks. I think they have lost two games since January 22. -
Nicely done.

There might be grave concern in Vegas as the defending champions continue to struggle, losing to the Blue Jackets today. This comes after the ugly 7-2 loss on Saturday against Buffalo. Vegas has allowed 18 goals in three games. Jack Eichel is back for Vegas so that is the good news but they are struggling right now and will not be division champs. The other good news for teams like Vegas is that once you get into the playoffs anyone can make it to the finals. They should get into the playoffs unless there is a total meltdown, though they have now fallen to third in the division with the LA Kings right on their tail. Out east the New Jersey Devils have fired head coach Lindy Ruff. Jersey came into the season with high expectations as a Stanely Cup contender but their season has been a rough one, with 64 points they are currently 8 points out of the final playoff spot in the east. Certainly could argue that the Devils have been the most underachieving team in the league this year. Ruff is the seventh NHL head coach to be fired since the season started. -
I appreciate the kind words, sensei8.

The Vegas Golden Knights beat the Maple Leafs on Tuesday and got their 300th franchise win, making them the fastest team in history to 300, it took them 514 games. It ends a seven-game win streak for Toronto. On the other side of it Arizona has now gone winless in their last 13, the longest streak by any team this season. Arizona is a team that might be moving soon and these losing streaks don't help. The NHL is looking at possibly moving them to Houston, Atlanta, or Salt Lake City. There is a chance they could be staying in Arizona, and if so then Salt Lake is likely to get an expansion team. -
That’s a tough one for me because they were collectively funny!! Separately, I think Kramer was the funniest of them all, imho. Kramer was the Iggy from Taxi of the Seinfeld show to me. They both are hysterical and brilliantly played. I can't imagine their could ever be a better actor for either role. Though I do wonder how someone like Jim Carrey would do as Kramer, him and Richards both have a gift for physical humor.

I'd like to discuss the age-old great debate. Which Seinfeld character was the funniest: George Costanza or Cosmo Kramer? Of course if you think one of the other characters was actually the funniest, feel free to argue that.

Anyone watching the documentary called Dynasty that recently was added to Apply TV plus? It's a doc series about the Patriots years as a dynasty covering everything from championships to controversy. They drop two episodes every week and four are currently available to view. If you do not have Apple TV plus they offer a free seven-day trial. The doc has talked with a lot of former people involved with the team including Brady, Belichick, Kraft, Bledsoe, Moss, Josh Macdaniel's, Ty Law, and many more. I think that later in the doc they go into more detail as to why Brady and Belichick has a falling out. From what I have read/recall a few years ago, Bill did not think Brady could play at a high level for as long as he did, and Bill wanted to trade Brady to the 49ers and keep Jimmy Garoppolo. Kraft would not agree to it so the Pats traded Jimmy and after that the relationship between Brady and Belichick was not the same. Not sure how accurate it is, and this part has not been covered in the doc as of this posting, should be interesting to see what information they share in a few weeks. Episode four ends with the Patriots losing Super Bowl 42 to the Giants, the season they went 16-0 and set many NFL records, some which still stand today.

Have you tried ice/heat in the area?? Have you wrapped an Ace Band-Aid around your ribs?? Does it hurt to move and/or breath?? Hope you're feeling better soon, Ken. No, nothing like that. I don't usually feel anything unless I am lying down. Even then it doesn't hurt, more sore than painful. Hopefully it is just that little ache you sometimes get when something is just finishing up healing! Injured rib s are no fun so hopefully it clears up soon! Thanks. I am feeling a lot better than I was a few days ago when I posted that

Anyone going to watch this event? The card is stacked with O'Malley fighting to defend the belt. O'Malley is one of the most popular guys in the sport, maybe only second behind McGregor, and some other fighters I like such as Kevin Holland, Gilbert Burns, and many others are on this event.

Auston Matthews is having a monster season. His 52 goals are the most in the league and he is on pace for 76 Matthews has 13 more goals than Sam Reinhart who is second. Fifty goals for an entire season is a huge number in today's NHL, Matthews already has passed that and if he puts in 76 it would tie 5th all time most goals in a single season, the most recent being in 1992-93. There are only three players who have scored more than 76 goals in a season, Wayne Gretzky did it twice (92 and 87 goals) Brett Hull (86) and Mario Lemieux (85). To put 76 goals in deeper perspective, last year McDavid had his career high in goals, at 64. Alex Ovechkin's career high is 65 from 2008. If Matthews and the Leafs continue to play well maybe they could make a deep playoff run. The franchise has not had much to cheer about in recent years as last season was the first time in almost two decades they won a playoff series, only to get thumped by the Panthers in the second round. Toronto has not won a Stanley Cup since the 60s when there were only 8 teams in the league. The east is tough with Florida, Boston, and New York all looking like legit Cup contenders. -

You and me both, I have not even heard of these. -
Every decade has a most dominate team that wins several Super Bowls going back to the Packers of the 60s, Steelers of the 70s, 49ers of the 80s, Cowobys of the 90s, Patriots of the 2000s, and now is the Chiefs. Ten years from now it will be someone else who wins several Super Bowls in a short amount of time. In the 70s the Steelers won four titles in six years, then did not win again until 2005. The Cowboys won three out of four in the 90s and almost 30 years later they have yet to return to the big game. Who knows maybe next decade it will be the Falcons, or Browns, or someone elese who has waited a long time to win. Things can change in an instant in the NFL, so teams like KC desereve a lot of credit for being able to compete at the high level as long as they have. You need the right players and the right coach, clearly they have both.

I was feeling normal but then I woke up yesterday and my left side where I broke my rib in December feels strange. I think I slept on it wrong and maybe it has not fully healed yet. Might have to get another XRAY on Monday. I don't have pain, it just feels like something is not right.

The owner of the team I am playing in fantasy hockey this week has checked out because he had Kirill Kaprizov on his bench and missed out on a 12.2 point performance. I would do the same thing. Many years ago, I was in an office fantasy football league and I had running back Curtis Martin of the New York Jets. I think he was my first-round pick. Martin did nothing for me for five or six games in a row, or whatever it was, so I benched him. That week scored three touchdowns. To this day I have never played fantasy sports again. -
Anyone have any experience with these? Recommend them as walking shoes outside the dojo?

How am I doing? That is none of your business and I would appreciate it if you would keep your nose out of my personal information.
