  1. Absolutely. I hope I can just be alive at 85. Norris is in Hawaii right now boating and relaxing on the beach. To be 85 and be that active would be a dream.
  2. Was still having some issues so when I had my annual doctors visit, they did an Xray. There is no damage to the bone or any indication of problems from the XRAY, so it is likely a soft tissue or tendon that is causing the pain.
  3. I haven't seen or experienced any hiccups in a while, looks to be running great @Patrick
  4. Norris turns 85 today, March 10. Are you going to watch Chuck Norris movies tonight or waste a perfectly good March 10th? Norris is my favorite martial arts actor and while I have never had a personal encounter with him a few people I knew over the years had met him and all said he was a great guy. Should I be embarrassed that I have years of MA training and hold rank in multiple styles but am 100% convicted that and 85-year-old man can still knock me out? Rhetorical question. Keep kicking!
  5. The 50-million-dollar failure that has been Kirk Cousins may get a second shot in Atlanta. The Falcons have announced they do not plan to cut Cousins after his disappointing 2024 season. Trading the QB also seems unlikely because it would be a big cap hit for the team, 37.5 million, only saving the Falcons 2.5 million if they get rid of him. Either way Kirk is going to get a big paycheck from the Falcons in 2025. The Buccaneers have resigned LB Lavante David for 10 million dollars on a one-year contract. The Bills have given four-year extensions to both WB Khalil Shakir (60 million) and LB Terrell Bernard (50 million). Cowboys have resigned DT Osa Odighizuwa for four years and 80 million dollars, 56 million is guaranteed.
  6. Brad Marchand traded to the Panthers. Bruins get second round pick in 2027.
  7. Bob Dylan - The Times They Are a Changing
  8. Will Smith - Miami
  9. Bryan Adams - Run to You
  10. The groin injury that Matthew Tkachuk suffered in the Four Nations Tournament will sideline him for at least the rest of the regular season. The Panthers are hopeful he will be ready to return when the playoffs start in April.
  11. So not only are you secretly an NSA agent, you are also a celebrity.
  12. Elvis - Burning Love
  13. The Penguins have dropped to last place in the Metropolitan. Only 58 points in 63 games puts them at the second worst record in the east behind the Sabers (will the Sabers ever be OK?) at 54 points, but still well ahead of lowly Sharks who have 41 points in 62 games. Can't remember the last time I saw the Penguins in last place this late in the season.
  14. When it's time to go it is time to go.
  15. MLB considering allowing Pete Rose to be eligible for the Hall of Fame. Manfred is reviewing a petition by Rose's family to have him reinstated. Rose was given a lifetime ban by MLB in 1989 because he was betting on baseball, but with his passing in 2024 there may be an interest in putting him into the Hall of Fame. Rose is the all-time leader in hits and games played. He has never appeared on a Hall of Fame ballot.
  16. Metallica - King Nothing
  17. The current playoff picture is this: Top eight teams in the east in order are 1. Washington 2. Toronto 3. Florida 4. Tampa Bay 5. Carolina 6. New Jersey 7. Detroit 8. Columbus with NY Rangers, Boston, and Ottawa all two points behind Columbus. In the west it is 1. Winnipeg 2. Vegas 3. Dallas 4. Edmonton 5. Minnesota 6. Los Angeles 7. Colorado 8. Vancouver with Calgary only one point behind Vancouver, Utah four points back of Vancouver, and St. Louis five back. It is unlikely (not impossible) that anyone not listed would get into the playoffs. The regular season ends April 17, seven weeks from today. Of course, after today's games this information could change, but as of the present moment that is where it stands.
  18. Brothers Osborne - It Ain't My Fault
  19. Crosby, Stills, and Nash - Live it Up
  20. MLB and ESPN will end their contract agreement following the 2025 season. This includes TV, radio, and streaming. The agreement to split ways was mutual, according to reports. MLB has been broadcast on ESPN since 1990.
  21. He is yet to comment so maybe he is not at liberty to say.....
  22. Eh...... I liked the series and it doesn't feel necessary to do anymore. Even season six got a bit long with too many characters and storylines. I could see the ending being in season five. Keep Kreese dead in prison, Daniel beats Silver and Cobra Kai ends while Johnny, Barnes, and Chozen all help him do it. Felt like the final season was dragging it out more than necessary. Maybe they are considering going in a different direction?
