I agree with Iron Arahat about the tuna. It is a very cheap form of protien that pretty much anyone can get. Ok back to the question to gain muscle mass try to eat 1 or more grams of protien for every pound of body weight. Dont forget about fats but dont over do it, so are good lots are bad!
SubmissionFighter one way to not be sore the day after lifting is by talking a warm shower after your workout. Somehow its helps deplete the acid build up in the muscle. Doesnt seem like it would work but it does! O yeah drink lots of water during your workout!
I have been lifting for around 4 or so years and the best advise i can give anyone is to dont forget about working the legs. Also when squating keep you back straight(so you dont hurt yourself) and to go so your thighs are paralel to the ground, so you get all the benefits from the lift! No point in wasting your time!
