Any OTHER MA you would like to learn?.....
muaythaidm replied to OldRookie's topic in General Martial Arts Discussion
Right now I do just Muay Thai. I would like to also learn BJJ, Kali(or pretty much any weapon arts), and Krav-Maga. But I live in a small town and none of these are offered, I was very suprised when I found out that Muay Thai was. Does anyone know of any good books or videos about any of these arts? -

Ahazmaksya to gain weight you should stick to compound movements in the weight room such as the bench press, squats, deadlifts, etc. As far as your cardio you should cut that back alot, maybe even in half.

I heard from a guy in college to become a personal trainer(in weighlifting) that after you workout you need nothing but carbs, no fat no protien just carbs to replenish your bodies energy. An hour after that you need some fat and lots of protien. He said that was for lifting so i would think it would be pretty much the same for any other workout. Just what I heard.

I have heard that people at or around your age ad should not lift weights because if can hurt or stunt your bone structure. When you get older it wont hurt your bone structue because you arent growing as fast. That is what i hear anywhay.
