Which would be the best to go for out of these two?
muaythaidm replied to Tweedy's topic in Choosing a Martial Art, Comparing Styles, and Cross-TrainingDont know about Lau Gar but Muay Thai is a great art. Its all stand up but in a streetfight you dont want to be on the ground anyway(his buddies would then kick you in the head). Muay Thai is a very powerful art that is relativly quick to learn.

Wha artial Arts style should i take for self defense?
muaythaidm replied to Kickchop19's topic in Choosing a Martial Art, Comparing Styles, and Cross-TrainingMuay Thai would have a quick payoff, and it would be good for self defense. I recomend Muay Thai. You might also want to take some sort of grappling art incase the fight goes to the ground.

What is Different Between Mauy Ti in Thailand and the USA?
muaythaidm replied to BlueDragon1981's topic in MMA, Muay Thai, Kickboxing, Boxing, and Competitive FightingI have heard that in Thailand there are a lot less leg kicks thrown. The reason for this is because they want to stay healthy because they fight so often. It would be hard to fight with a broken shin bone. I have never had the chance to go to THailand and watch some fights but I will eventually.

What Instant Messenger are you? Candy bar? Soda?
You're AIM, probably the most popular instant messenger out there. The bad thing is that you're run by a bunch of corporate assholes, but what isn't nowdays? Want to put this in your journal or weblog? Copy-and-paste this cod You're all happy-bubbly, highly optimistic, and disgustingly sweet. Airhead? Maybe, considering you contain about 80% air.
