  8. Dont know about Lau Gar but Muay Thai is a great art. Its all stand up but in a streetfight you dont want to be on the ground anyway(his buddies would then kick you in the head). Muay Thai is a very powerful art that is relativly quick to learn.
  9. Muay Thai came from Thailand. Muay Thai kickboxing and kickboxing are two very different things.
  10. Muay Thai would have a quick payoff, and it would be good for self defense. I recomend Muay Thai. You might also want to take some sort of grappling art incase the fight goes to the ground.
  11. I have heard that in Thailand there are a lot less leg kicks thrown. The reason for this is because they want to stay healthy because they fight so often. It would be hard to fight with a broken shin bone. I have never had the chance to go to THailand and watch some fights but I will eventually.
  12. I will be going to college on the 20th of September. After college I want to get into the FBI as a Special Agent but I havent decided of the best way of doing so. Any help
  13. You're AIM, probably the most popular instant messenger out there. The bad thing is that you're run by a bunch of corporate assholes, but what isn't nowdays? Want to put this in your journal or weblog? Copy-and-paste this cod You're all happy-bubbly, highly optimistic, and disgustingly sweet. Airhead? Maybe, considering you contain about 80% air. Dr. Pepper
  14. What, if any, art is the best for defending yourself on the street from multiple attackers?
  15. If you want to strengthen your abbs you shouldn't just do crunchies and sit ups. Both those exercises work the same part of the ab muscle. THere are three parts of the abs; the upper ab, the lower ab, and the obliques. You should do 2 exercises for each part with 3 sets of 15-20 with only a 15 second brake inbetween. YOu should also do all you ab training on an empty stomach, like right when you wake up in the morning. As for how long you should stay in Muay Thai that is up to you. Do it as long as you want.
