I had never heard of bunkai before joining this site. Kata learned in conjunction with realistic bunkai seems like a good way to have 2 person drills as well as a guide to practicing them solo. But I wouldn't want it to be the main focus of what I do.

I was thinking about that guard pass that I invented, grrrrr... And then googled smashlight. The name is trademarked for a flat flashlight. Smash Lite isn't, but it is similar enough that they could stand a chance with a lawsuit.

That's what Derwentbob called it. Maybe I'm missing context or something.

From another thread I learned that stabbing someone in the buttcheek is called a duking.

Here's some local ones. Wersh in place of wash. This carries over into variations of wash as well. Washer becomes wersher, Washington becomes Wershington. A while back ago. A redundant phrase meaning an undetermined time in the past. Over there yonder. A redundant phrase meaning over there, or yonder. Ain't got no- a phrase meaning don't have any. Used to avoid sounding pretentious. Best to also avoid words like pretentious. Bell peppers are called mangos for some reason. I'm sure there's more. Oh wait... That should be there are....

Sounds good. I'm supposed to go out late on the 13th. Every other evening or Saturday morning is great.

Personally, i am partial to Monsoon/Heenan, but Monsoon/Ventura is great as well. That's a hard choice. But I do like calling people humanoids. Late 80s WWF. Hogan was still telling you to take your steroi..... vitamins. Ultimate Warrior was absolutely crazy but had not yet started a political blog. The Macho Man advertising Slim Jims was more exciting than the uninspired junk they're doing now. Tag teams were great in that era as well. I know they were not technically the best, but my favorite had to be the Bushwhackers. They were just fun to watch.

David used a projectile weapon to hit a larger than normal target. Never understood how that was somehow more impressive.
-
Mr Han would approve of multiple attachments. Put the original end cap in a display case.

Weird Al and Lonely Island are great. You should check out some Dr Demento stuff. That's where Weird Al got his start. I like Danzig ,Iron Maiden, Powerglove, Vomitron, and really love Beethoven.

No ethics, untrained fighters? It's called Bumfights.

A lot can be done with junk tires as well.

The smashlight should have no trouble smashing a skull, I think the question is how many skulls the connection of the hitch to the light will last. Medieval polearms and maces often had metal bracing along the wooden shaft and attaching to the head, for extra durability. Could this idea be incorporated?

Please post the recipe for ballistics gel.

I was joking, but the Vega(Balrog?) claw would be very cool.

Since this thread has been completely hijacked anyway, how does looking like a military dictator who also looks like a member of village people help in the development of the single most important development in flashlight combat? (I.E. the smashlight) The two are unrelated, other than being homemade weapons. One lets you see in the dark and cause blunt force trauma. The other levitates you and shocks your heart and gives you adrenaline when you die. Also, as ridiculous as we are, we are on topic.

We do 2 or 3 on 1 sparring on occasion. I'd suggest everyone else does too.
-
Now all we need is Gomez Addams' M. Bison suit.
-
Smashlight does sound cool, and the hitch gets points for awesome.
-
Just a thought, wouldn't it be a better idea to turn a 5D light into a 3D light with 2 D batteries worth of lead in the tube?
