Has anyone else experienced this? I have horrible leg flexability but can still kick higher than anyone in the dojo. I just dont know how this is possible. My senseis cant understand either.
I just checked the dojo directory on blackbeltmag.com and came up with two in your area, but I dont know what style they teach. One is called Mountain Valley family Martial Arts in Hazleton the other is called Scranton Karate School in scranton. hope this helps.

Push ups are a great way to exercise the chest with out equipment. You can do them in so many different ways( feet up, hands up, hands wide,hands narrow , hands shoulder width, plyo pushups etc.)
Ive been pretty lucky to have only gotten the normal bumps and bruises during training, but at my first tournament I had my nose broken,since then I have learned to keep my guard up and not block with my face.
