  5. Can it be a modern weapon? if so I would take an m60 with acouple belts of ammo. if not Iwould also go the sword and shield route
  6. Thanx I just didnt know if this was normal or if as my sensei says Im just a freak
  7. Has anyone else experienced this? I have horrible leg flexability but can still kick higher than anyone in the dojo. I just dont know how this is possible. My senseis cant understand either.
  8. My mouth piece makes me gag also. Sparring in class I just dont wear it even though I should, I tend to only wear it in tournaments wear its required.
  9. I just checked the dojo directory on blackbeltmag.com and came up with two in your area, but I dont know what style they teach. One is called Mountain Valley family Martial Arts in Hazleton the other is called Scranton Karate School in scranton. hope this helps.

  12. We train 3 days during the week for an hour each, and about 4 hours on Saturday

  15. This is going to make me sound old but here goes. I loved any thing by sid and marty croft( H.R Puffinstuff,Sigmond and the Sea Monster,Land of the Lost.)also the superfriends.
  16. Yes its very possible depending on how hydrated you are to start with.
  17. Push ups are a great way to exercise the chest with out equipment. You can do them in so many different ways( feet up, hands up, hands wide,hands narrow , hands shoulder width, plyo pushups etc.)
  18. Just remember that if you wait until you are thirsty to drink water, it is too late, you are already dehydrated.

  20. We also do the burpee challenge in which you try to do 100 burpees in 10 minutes. burpees are delicious!
  21. Our fee is $75 a month and we train 4 days a week. Our sensei has given my family a break $50 a month because we helped build the school.
  22. Ive been pretty lucky to have only gotten the normal bumps and bruises during training, but at my first tournament I had my nose broken,since then I have learned to keep my guard up and not block with my face.
  23. We did it Thursday and Im still sore today. It made doing katas today real interesting.
