  1. let me laugh until i get defecated ROFL!!!!!!!!!! i don't think he has that "amazing raw talent" ... Ken Shamrock has 38 years now, and he was out of action for about 6 years, altought Tito is living maybe his best moment, but first "NOBODY" it's invencible.. Ken Shamrock wasn't in his best shape, i'd love to see Tito vs Vitor or Tito vs Lidell, it would be an interesting match (in fact, tito vs lidell is gonna happen soon). IMHO i think Tito has NO chance for example with Minotauro, so, say that he's invencible is a total BS.
  2. Yes, the same happens to me, i haven't see karate really works in a real situation, and that make a strong case, that's why i said that.
  3. I practiced karate about 1 year and a half, and i quit because i consider it's useless, that's my IMHO
  4. i suppose you will beat those opponents with your kata's forms, and saying "KIAI" (to scare them)
  5. oh yes? where? in a exihibition? i'll love to see it in a real situation KIAI!!!! LOL!
  6. i use guard a lot, this is one of the positions where i feel more confident, when i roll with guys with no experience y try more to sweep them, but when guys with more experience most time i look for submissions. i dont use half-guard
  7. i preffer the ground, i feel more confortable there and think it's more secure
  8. i think that he invented that, like others have already done like "Gracie Jiu Jitsu" , "Machado Jiu Jitsu", etc..
  9. i preffer to roll with bigger guys, since big people are most susceptible to submissions
  10. i think that all that about facing multiple attackers is bs, if you almost always get complicated with one person, with "multiple" attackers ..... ...
  11. I preffer Pride, they have more organization than UFC and others, and they fight card is the best out there.
  12. you "learn" the basics in a few times if you practice ir very times and roll, but to master in that moves (that is the differences between a black belt and another) you need time.
  13. i train 75% with gi, and the other 25% in no-gi when my gi is dirty or i roll with any friend
  14. BJJ is focused to groundfighting, but it does have stand up techniques (throws, etc), but in many schools there are instructors that don't teach them and put all the time to ground fighting
  15. I suggest you ATAMA kimonos, HCK, and Krugans Atama's kimonos website: http://www.atama-kimonos.com Krugans kimonos: http://www.krugans.com HCK kimonos: http://www.howardliu.com
  16. Yes, i saw it, i have it in vcd Both talked bs of the other, but Shamrock looked very bad.. Tito showed he's in very good shape, i'll love to see Tito vs Lidell, or vs Belfort..
  17. Hello, my advice is that if you can, start working in your cardio condition, it's very important. Another thing, like others already said, is that don't desesperate on submissions, first it's the position, it's the BJJ's base "First get a position, and then in function of what movement he does, you apply a submission". And don't get frustrated when people make you tap, think in that everytime they make you tap, you can learn of that error that made you tap, so you aren't gonna make it again =). Good luck
  18. You can tell a friend who be a jujutsuka and practice, you can tap anyway..
  19. IMHO Taekwondo isn't very useful for street. Why? i think in street is _very_ insecure that you throw a kick, your opponent can easily desequilibrate you, catch it, or something, also your groins are exposed to a kick, or a punch. Of course, it depends on the fighter, but style is also important.
