My friend had a SatNav and it got stolen. The police put out a warning to the public as many were being stolen from cars, the police even said to wipe off the sticky marks they may leave on your windscreen, just incase you have hidden it in your glovebox when leaving the car. Anyway i don't have a car so don't have one, think i will just stick to my bike

Kyu grades could go on for a full evening if there are a lot of people taking there gradings. Like someone else said everyone else has to wait while others take theirs. We have two clubs that merge for grading evenings so you can imagine there are a lot of people. Dan grades again depending on how many, usually for one person taking a dan grade it last two hours or so. We would usually run a short course too before each grade so it can be a long affair.

Hi everyone. It's exam time and im feeling the stress. Last week i sat my English Literature exam, it was on A kestral for a knave and poetry. I think i did okay with the poetry but Kes was hard. On tuesday (3rd) i have English Language, doing media and persuasive writing, and also history paper 1. This paper one is on International History 1900-1939 and Britain in WW2. 5th June i have another English Language on Poetry and writing to describe. I have History paper 2 on 11th june which will cover Russia and Nazi Germany. Finally History paper 3 will cover Vietnam and Britain foreign policy this will include the falklands/gulf/suez cisis. it's all good fun..not!! My brain has shrank to the size of a peanut and my karate and social life is all on hold, this i find difficult since i just got myself a lovely partner! Grrr But it's nearly over, i made a post on here to tell you guys some time ago that i had gone back to study and it's all gone so quickly. Will have to decide what i want to do next.

Hi Brian i'm not sure what you mean. To stop my shin bones getting bruised i always step to the side and scoop up a kick so i turn my apponent and have their back facing me, that way i can make a good counter to the back of their head and not bruise my shins.

These stories are heartwarming. I haven't experienced anything like this but knowing how i feel about my instructors i really wouldn't like this to happen to me. What we have to think about here is what these people taught you and what you can cherish forever and maybe pass on to other people. Just think about how they made you feel about karate and life when you get sad an it will clear. I hope you get everything you want out of your new instructor and your karate!

This is something i dread when i train...damaged forearms! I have blocked with both muscle and bone and both hurt. I am quite a petite person and i bruise easily, so if we are doing a lot of defence techniques my forearms get very bruised and sore. To be honest a lot of the time i dont think about it, if we are using fast moves and i have to be fast to block i don't think weather i am using muscle or bone, i get bruised up either way.

Hiya Marie. I can't remember what type of cichlid she is. She is like a grey colour with orange tips at the edges of her top fins and she has blue tribal marks on her face. I know what you mean about them, i have heard that a lot but she seems very happy and so do my other fish, it's all very peaceful and content. The gourami's are happy too, they just chase each other!

Don't come to the UK it rains all the time I would love to go to New York and Australia. But even though i have lived in the Uk most of my life i would love to go to London, to visit Buckingham Palace, the famous Tower of London and all of Henry viii castles. There is a lot of good British History in London.

There is a retauraunt near us called the chinese buffet. You go and help yourself to all different kinds of chinese foods and you can eat as much as you like for £7, you can do that in an hour. I love it there, it's cheap and great food.

This film looks so cool. It's just coming out in the cinema here, may see if my girlfriend wants to go see it..i really liked the other ones.

Hey DWX, thanks for talking to me about it. The sick platty seems to be getting better, i have been putting treatment in and my plants and other fish are thriving! I have realised what you have been saying about platties, they are little nasty sometimes, i have noticed mine fighting! I just added some more fish, congo tetra, and swordtails...i love swordtails especially the males. Yeah the apple snails are quite big but they are very interesting and amusing, the light on my tank makes it look bright yellow!

We got a Playstation 3 which has to stay downstairs because i don't totally trust my son with it in his room, plus i like to watch my blu ray dvd's on it. He also has a nintendo ds. I am actually trying to find a cheap ps2 on ebay with a bundle of games.

Well we have new editions. I have finally managed to get that topical set-up i always wanted! It cost just over £200 in total but it's worth it! I have these fish. Cichlid x1 Black phantom tetra x1 Swordtails x3 Platties x4 Congo tetra x1 1 white and 1 gold gurami oh and an apple snail!
