  1. It depends what software you have on your PC! If you have Jasc (Or as its now known Corel) paint shop pro or Adobe photoshop, let me know. Paint will reduce the images but I find the quality is sometimes very poor after.
  2. Yer that was an awesome part. I watched that part 4 times. I love the way his leg comes round and kicks him in the head.

    Punching

    I wouldn't have thought much of a difference, but I see you do both so you would know the differences.
  6. Hi Sohan This was a general thing I do my full workout in one at the moment. At present I walk two miles a day quickly so I count that as my cardio but that will be stopping on Friday (changing jobs). I will add more specific things now i am splitting my body parts up. Thanks for your help.

    Punching

    I'd have to disagree Gyak, if you put two exactly the same people and one does a boxing punch (from the shoulder) and one does a karate punch (with the hip) i'd say the Karate would be stronger as you are putting your wholebody behind the punch. Either way wouldn't like to be punched by either.
  8. I've been trying to squash all my training into an hour each night, but don't feel like i've really worked enough on each part of my body. Is it best to do say: Monday :- legs Tuesday :- Back and Abs Wednesday :- Cardio Thursday :- Arms Friday :- Pecs and forearms Etc or keep to my doing all of it alternate nights?

  11. I have to say with regards to that video you could tell it was a fake. Hell two guys started to do that to me i'd cross over if they followed i'd be running like a whippet. Not because im weak or scared but because I can. The style is not important like everyone else said its what you think you can get out.
  12. I'm just wondering if anyones seen any good (recent) MA films. I've seen unleashed with Jet Li and thought it was a really good film. But not much else that I can think of. Any suggestions?
  13. Title really says it all. We all work hard to train but never really get a chance to shot about it. So which part of your body are you most proud of? Could be your brain to your big toe. For some reason mine are my forearms. I went from having half match sticks to pencils and am proud of it.
  14. Well kinda like everyone else has said. I managed to get a 4 pack from a beer barrel, unfortunately I had one day of junk food and cakes and now im back at square one. If you are serious about it, it takes lots of time. I do: 15 full sit ups 30 twisting crunches (30 to each leg) 15 crunches 30 crunches with weights 25 (not sure what they are called but put your legs about 6 inches off the floor and push them out and pull them in. Not alot and along way off from the exercises that bad959fl has listed but its a start.
  15. we took a big old 7 seater so split the parking costs. I had the missus with me so couldn't spend to much money. I'll definately be going next year. Hopefully by then I might be competing (or not).

  17. I've never heard of it, but it might have been that you where concentrating on keeping your balance or was the person bouncing you cute With regards to permenant problems even once can cause damage, best to be careful. It also depends where abouts you where kicked.

  19. I do Shotokan, Our belts are; Red Orange Yellow Green (Me) Blue Purple Purple and White Brown Brown and White Brown and 2 white stripes Black I'm attempting to learn Heian Godan at the moment but keep getting confused.
  20. This is my favourite kick. In our style we twist our foot 180 degrees, it is very unstable until you gain your balance. But the twist of the foot enables the hips to provide some extra power (i think).
  21. You'll notice that once you start to exercise you get really hungry. Make sure you eat more but eat the right things.

  23. Not been a skin flint but it seems in the UK prices for supplements, like creatine and protein powder cost the earth. Anyone in the UK know anywhere to get them cheaper?
  24. Hmm tall and lanky, sounds like me. I have just started out as well so i'll give you my 2cents worth. Firstly make a note of everything you eat and drink and I mean everything. Add all the calories up, you want to put muscle on but not fat so stay AWAY from fast food. I'm trying to loose my spare tyre and get my six pack back so im staying around the 2500 calorie mark. My exercise routine is a bit poo, im trying to sort out what helps and what doesn't you can have a look here; https://www.vacanomusic.com/Test/Plan.xls and see if it helps. If anyone else can suggest anything that can help i'd be greatful as well. Note: This is working for me but may not work for you. Be very careful with the good mornings
