  1. I agree, just like soft teachers make soft students, unmotivating teahers make unmotivated students.
  2. Run 20 minutes every day, also skipping, body calisthenics 15 minutes, punch and kick the bag shadow boxing 20 minutes. Might not sound like much, but its far better than any other weight training program I'v done.
  3. Bon Chi does it really work. So how long till tou can harness it?
  4. Just wanderd what was everyones technique when it comes to sparring. I like to be fluide and constantly ducking and weaving and then tence quickly with a few highly tuned blows to the head, then when the oppenants dazed a big spinning back to the face, Van Damme style. Float like a Butterfly sting likie a Bee. Muhamed Ali
  5. My Dad is exactually the same! When I changed from Wado to Shotokan he said that I just quite and that I cant stick to anything. I did it anyway. You should confront him and tell him the problem and if that doesn't work just change clubs, coz if he cant get down to your level just do whats right for your self. I know it might be hard but thats life! Face your problems head on and great rewards will come to you in life! Don't give up, do what ever makes you happy and dont let anyone tell you what to do! I hope this helps mate.
  6. Like the Sambo makes me want to do it.
  7. Your a bit of a nut. Anyway welcome.
  8. thug: I never said that they are trained more than any other MA I simply pointed out that Muay Thai fighters are conditioned enough to sustain blows to the head better than other MA's.
  9. Welcome to the forums
  10. Argument ended. ps you know more about soft arts than me and I respect that, but you sure as hell know more about hard arts than you since I've done more of them and for longer than you have.
  11. Finished last Friday, 6 weeks off.
  12. How do you find the time to 6-8 meals. That is actually the prefered intake for body builders. Eating small meals every 2-3 hours. Eating 3 good sized meals a day I thought was the best. Any thought on this?
  13. Muay Thai figters arent tough, okay you obviously know more than me.
  14. "All through out the world you will see that animals in the world are far better shape than human beings. Regardless of size, they are stronger, more flexible and have greater ebdurance. Yet, they do not push wieghts or train on mechanical devices. And how do these get into this kind of condition? They do it with working with their own body weight. They have mastered their body weight through stretching in all directions and from all angles. Animals also run, jump, climb and wrestle. If an athlete wants to get the most out of himself, it is a good idea to copy the way of the animal." 15. Cool, that sent a weird feeling in my stomach. I can't really beleive a Karate instructer not being able to hack being beaten, he should of took as an area to improve in rather than act the way he did.
  16. I'm using KaZaA its cool because it actually works, just had to download it then type in a song then after downloading it save so you can play it when you like.
  17. Bye Kensai, it was nice having this pretty stupid argument with you. Your a real bore. Be Well
  18. It builds the perfect fighting body.
  19. Gichin Funakoshi
  20. Everyone knows I'm the toughest "You got the eye of the tiger, its the thrill of the fight!" OK I'll stop singing.
  21. And your complaining I can only do 1 kickboxing seesion that last 1 hour and 2 shotokan classes which both last 1 hour plus I have to take the train to get to the shotokan classes and come back at about 10 getting back on the rough trains with thugs of kids hanging around, but for me its worth having the hassel now so that I can teach shotokan when I am older.
  22. Must have been cool meeting such an experianced martial artist as well as the number 1 in combat fitness. Everyone should but this book!
  23. Yes, when you jump your abdominals contract so that is a great way to lose the fat. Hoiwever you will never lose by just exercising you have to cut down on your food consumtion and rapidly decrease it to 3 meals a day without snacks in between and make sure the food is lean meaning that it does not contain a lot of carbohydrates. I ftraininjg becomes boring and you cant be bothered might I suggest you listening to some motivational music like 'Eye of the Tiger' or what ever motivates you like thinking what your look like after this workout. hope this helps
