1. i spose this could be good for more advanced training to perfect an already learnt techneque but not when your still learning. learn it then fight with it.
2. i think they can be good. if you were totally untrained and the guy you were about to fight did a big jumping spinning kick at head height you'd be pretty scared. and even if you wernt if you get kicked in the head it hurts. they can be very affective aswell. i gave my sparring partner a dead arm for half an hour coz i kicked him hard in the right place.
3. congrates with the break! i tihnk i lead foot kick would be better. but you can get alot of speed with a back foot kick and you get more power. but lead foot is more speed ( i think ) well what ever you chose i hope you do well with it!
4. i agree with lbouchet about that. i can use 'chucks but i wouldnt really know how to defend against them. but i understand what he means i spose if you know the weapon you know the weakness of it.

8. i also cross-train in MA but only had one vote?!?! i decided to vote for grappling coz its my favourite. (no offence to kickboxers i love it to!)
9. my bro came back from collage one day and told me that he´d been doin kickboxing. i thought this was cool so i asked one of my friends if they knew anywhere i could do it. he said no but he does jujitsu and do i want to come alone and have a look so i did. and i started kickboxing coz i was looking for a place and another one of my friends told me about one so i went. i think most people get into it coz of someone they know. well most kids do not sure about adults.

12. 2 things. 1) the whole thing about the boomerang returning is because of its shape. so you cant have a circular one. 2) i wouldnt want to catch anything someone throws at me. just avoid it. Peace out.
13. i do small circle jujitsu under master Leon Jay. its a style that teaches pressure points, throws, judo, locks, self defence, grappling and basic teaching. its very fun and enjoyable. i recommend doin it if you ever get a chance.
14. i would prob go for a Bon style hard fast strike to there jaw. or if it was a man i would snap kick to his manlyness. i tihnk its best though if you dont hit at all and just walk away.
15. i love my gi! its really nice and comfy! i love wearing it. but yeh i can understand how you might not like it.
16. it should take 8 years or more to get your black belt anyway so im saying thats just not right. it shouldnt really happen.

22. if your relaxed then you can control yourself better. its hard to be relaxed when your getting punched and kicked but i spose you got to try!
23. all things fast!! punk lots of punk. and RATM very cool for everything. i like to be very charged and feeling fast.
24. may i make an observation. you all have translated jujitsu as "the gentle art" but its not it should be "the science of gentleness" and infact judo means "the gentle way". just thought id say that. Kensai also said that in jujutsu they train in weapons. sorry but this is wrong. jujutsu was and is an unarmed art. used by the unarmed samurai agaist armed foe.
