Hiya Dbzhub, I heard eating and drinking a lot of water at the same time is really bad because it causes indigestion and makes you fat. So try not to drink too much while eating a meal. Also when you exercise be sure to stop and rest if you feel pain, espeically if it's somewhere important like your knees. For me, I lost about 3 pounds by making sure not to eat any red meat at all and eating some veggies. But if you decide not to eat red meat you should eat beans because they have lots of protiens that red meat gives you. Hmm well that's all I can think of. Goodluck Cya Hiya

Usually when I watch TV I look around the channels because I wanna see how sparring is like. I don't know how it is since I just started. Oh well... Does anyone know what time MA stuff is on at ESPN for pacific time? Thank you allz. Cya. Hiya

Geez your Mom must have a lot of will and motivation. I know I'd never be able to lose 10 pounds a week. I remember reading somewhere people who lose more then 3 pounds a week usually end up getting their weight back later anyway. I don't know if it's true.

Hiya! Eating 5-6 really small meals a day actually helps lose weight really quick because this keeps your metabolism up. But if you're like me and you go to school and come back home at 4, then you can only have three meals. Try not to eat or drink after 6. During the later hours of the night your metabolism goes down so eating late is a bad idea. I think You should eat more variety of foods. Hehe I doubt you can eat the same things for a long time, I'd get tired of it. Also for breakfast you should eat some carbohydrate. Um well that's all I can think of right now. I hope this helps. I'm try to lose at least 10 pounds because then I wouldn't be too fat. But if I had my way I'd wanna lose around30 to 40 pounds. Cya Hiya

40 pounds in 4 weeks???!!!! Cya Hiya

Yep I agree. But still I think some training equipment like a heavy bag or a few weights would really help in training. Cya Hiya

I'm overweight.. I still exercise normal and everything but I eat too much food with lots of calories... What can I say? I can't help it. Do you people think it'd be a realistic goal to try to lose at least 30-40 pounds by September? I'd look a lot better that way.

I think first you should do each technique a few times, to warm up a little. After that I think you should mix them up and do that for a few minutes with rests in between. Least that's what I would do. Cya Hiya

Oh, I get it. Thanks KickChick and Bon. Cya -Hiya

I agree that you should stick with your best friend whom you've known for years, rather then your girlfriend. But I disagree that you should get involved in the fight for no real reason, especially if your best friend just, "felt like fighting." -Hiya -

I don't think your girlfriend should have gotten so upset for trying to help your best friend out but at least try to talk to her. But as for your friend, I think you should just let him get into his fight, and you just stay out and watch or something, in case he gets badly hurt. Cya Hiya -
Any OTHER MA you would like to learn?.....

Hiya, I'd really want to try out Hapkido. Maybe when I get better at TKD and I have enough time... Cya Hiya -
I tryed it in PE before a few times because they made us. Some people might think it's fun I guess, but I was as bored as heck and tryed to talk to my friends most of the time when the PE teacher wasn't looking. I think the stuff they wear is really ugly too... But of course you don't have wear it (Unless you want to, lol I hope not). But ya, it's a good workout and it's pretty tiring if you do it for a long time. I know this because one of my friends actually did it really hard and the last time she kicked the air and suddenly passed out. Anywho, just my opinion. I think you should rent it or something first to make sure you like it and then buy it. Also it's not like sport TKD. In sport TKD you still sparr, and the techniques you learn are acutally real fighting techniques...

hey thanks for the info. also fats give you a lot of energy, twice as much as carbohydrates and also protects your organs so that's good.

I tried doing that. THe knee won't move forwards or backwards unless I move my hips or my ankle in a different location. Also if it doesn't slide qiuetly then is that bad or something? thank you
-
hiya, thats weird. whenever I tense my leg and kick my knee doesn't crack, but when I kick relaxing it(and I still don't make it straight either) it cracks. does anyone have any idea about this? thank you all
-
Hiya, What does it mean when people say, "dont lock your knee?" I read somewhere that locking can lead to hyperextension when kicking, and after trying all I could my knee still cracks when I kick, so maybe I'm locking me knee? Anyone know what "locking knee" means? Thank you all in advance!  -Hiya

I don't know if this is right, but I think after a workout eating foods high in protein like meat is good because it repairs your muscles and helps make it bigger or somethin'.... I could be wrong though, I don't pay attention in school much, so don't take my word for it. -Hiya

Hiya, I want to get my Mom to exercise so she lives longer and healthier, and for a while she was planning to go to a gym to do weightlifting, running, etc but the problem is she can't speak English well. So, she said she'll go if I come with her so I can help her out with her English and everything... But I heard that if you weightlift before you are fully grown weightlifting can mess up your growth so you won't become as tall, etc. I'm 12 right now, so if I did try a little weightlifting once in a while(Maybe twice a week) would that effect my growth? I don't wanna stay short... -Hiya

hiya, I've heard that a heavy bag is really useful, but how so? Maybe a dumb question, but I'm new so help me out here Also if they seem like a good training tool I want to get it, but does anyone know where I can get it (websites and things)and how much they are? also how big they are? There's not too much space in my house so if it's really big I can't get it. Thanks y'all -Hiya

hiya, does anyone know which part of your foot you hit with when you do the front kick in WTF TKD? The instructor told me to kick with the top part of my foot, but on this book I got it said you hit with the ball of your foot. Which one is right? thank you -Hiya

Yep, my knees do crack often when I do other things. Not always, but sometimes. LIke when I do squats, when I walk up the stairs, etc. It doesn't crack when I just run or walk though. I've found though that when I do squats, it cracks for a while, and then starts cracking less for a while once i do a lot. also i don't warm up my knees, i didn't really know you had to warm up your knees. yep, the smiley faces are awesome.   -Hiya
