How important is speed to you?
MuayTB1 replied to Singularity's topic in General Martial Arts Discussion
What? Not as a foctor? Speed is everything, wiht out speed you'll be dead. I've been studing boxing for the past 2 month and man speed is just all that. Look at Ali for example, when he was fighting Sonny (old champion of the world and he lost his champion to ali), in the rematch, Sonny only got 2 punches on Ali. "there is no way i can lose! because no man is as fast as me!" says Ali. -
punching in the face in semi contact sparring
MuayTB1 replied to ad's topic in General Martial Arts Discussion
when i box wiht my inexperienced firned I taut him by sticking my chin high and sticking my face right to where he can punch me on the eye. Then i would get out of the way all the time making them really pissed. wait i'm getting off subject here. Anyways, yea keep your hands up and dont' try to copy Ali. -
muay thai vs kung fu (2001)
MuayTB1 replied to loco's topic in MMA, Muay Thai, Kickboxing, Boxing, and Competitive Fighting
The dude is on drugs. I agree. I also agree with havoc. This debate is stupid. Who is number 1? nothing is. you train how you train and if you win, you win, no excues. Even San Shou team won,(wich i am very pround of) that dosne't mean that they are better the anyone els. I think its more country vs. country then muaythai vs. san shou. -

I just think that San Shou are better! There is no excues such as "I didn't think they were that good". You win, you win, the chinese had won before to back in 94 i think.... -

I am really into San Shou right now. I put up signs all over my basement like "NO PAIN, NO GAIN" lol its all good. Now, I think I need someone to look up to. But finding a San Shou fighter's info is hard because it is not popluar in USA. So could you please tell me a site or what ever about fighters? Thanks much. Take care.

Well, puting just anything might cut your inside of your bag and it might be to soft. It also dosn't fill all the space if you just put in all junks. It might be to soft to is you put in carpet and all that stuff. Sand is way to hard...so my bad is filled wiht rice. cost some moeny but its really good

So if you have a Full time job, could you please help me out? The questions are. 1> How do you like your Job 2> How are you reading skills, writing skills, speech and etc used in your job and is it important 3> Drescribe what a day is like in your job , if everyday is different, then what did you do yesterday? 4> include things you like to say about it. Thank you very much for your time.

MuayTB1 replied to MuayTB1's topic in Kung Fu, JKD, Wing Chun, Tai Chi, and Chinese Martial Arts
Come on give me a break! (to moobrack) Wong Fei Hung is the greatest ain't he! Jet lee make millions of his movies and I've seen them all. Also, The Chinese Connection (Bruce Lee's movie) is about a ture kung fu fight named Cheng Jain. His master is Wo Yin Ja which is know for defeating russian fighters and boxers all over the world and also beat karate masters. Jet Lee also made a movie about him in "Fist of Legend" -
thanks, just like the one inch punch huh? you don't have to draw back to "kill"?

I do alot of back leg kneeing becuase it seems it is the only way to get power. Can you master the leading leg knee? Like, with out the full draw of the back leg, you know what I am talking about right?
