  2. Two college basketball players were taking an important final exam. If they failed, they would be on academic probation and not allowed to play in the big game the following week. The exam was fill-in-the-blank. The last question read, "Old MacDonald had a ________." Bubba was stumped. He had no idea what to answer. But he knew he needed to get this one right to be sure he passed. Making sure the professor wasn't watching, he tapped Tiny on the shoulder. "Pssst. Tiny. What's the answer to the last question?" Tiny laughed. He looked around to make sure the professor hadn't noticed then he turned to Bubba. "Bubba, you're so stupid. Everyone knows Old MacDonald had a FARM." "Oh yeah," said Bubba. "I remember now." He picked up his No. 2 pencil and started to write the answer in the blank. He stopped. Tapping Tiny's shoulder again, he whispered, "Tiny, how do you spell farm?" "You are really dumb, Bubba. That's so easy. Farm is spelled E-I-E-I-O."
  3. Look around and see what you like and what you think will benefit you. You might want to look into TKD or something similar but whatever works for you.
  4. Never have but good luck to you!
  5. Just practice. Each day, set a mark and try to jump up and touch it or jump over it. Increase by a barely noticeable amount each day.
  6. Our sensei kicks at us but very slowly so he wont hit us but it will show if our knees are close enough
  7. How does one achieve this? I talk with the students in a friendly manner. I want to become popular with the youth students and be nice to them but I'm afraid they wont take me as seriously when I tell them to line up or something. I want to be a friend but one that they will respect.
  8. I am very happy with my dojo, and I go there 5 -6 days a week
  9. Does it take good pics?
  10. Pretty good motto everyone, thank you for posting!
  11. How many loved this movie? How many thought it was boring? Everyone who has seen it either loved it or thought it was the most boring thing ever. I thought it was boring but I thought the Rex Kwon Do was the tipical McDojo type thing. It was kind of funny
  12. 9/11 was a very sad day but happy Birthday to you when it rolls around, Mr. Mike
  13. Your card turned out just fine. It was a good, short, encouraging messege. We all hope that your sensei will be okay. GOOD LUCK TO HIM!
  14. I'd say TKD. It's fascinating to watch how quickly they can kick and the high, spinning techniques.
  15. My dojo teaches a short kiai. I guess the long kiai is supposed to show focus
  16. Don't worry about it. Just go out there and do your ultimate best. You'll be surprised at how well you're really doing.
  17. How many have done that? I've whacked my funny bone doing nunchaku.
  18. I don't get in fights. One incident that happened this year was when a kid said he wanted to fight with me. I always tell him no bacuase he always trying to start a fight with someone. He grabbed me and I whipped my hand out of his. Then he tried to shove me and I use a perry block. I didn't get hurt and neither did he but it showed him.
  19. What was the teeth of the tiger about?
  20. sounds like something that will get a person pretty tired
  21. We do shugyo at the end of the year and last time, we did somewhere around like 9000+ techniques. It's just a few hours and you just keep going, and everybody kind gets in an oval shape and takes turns counting
