  2. Yo KickChick I take Dymetadrine Xtreme from AST. It's good stuff! Here's a link... http://www.ast-ss.com/Products/dymetadrine_xtreme/dymetadrine_xtreme.asp
  3. ... Always look left AND right before crossing the road. It is a good idea to put on your socks before you put on your shoes. And don't forget self defense rule No.1 - Learn to hit ******* HARD!
  4. Sounds great! I wish MY Sifu live a little closer - Arkansas is a little too far away to make regular classes LOL!
  5. Saw a great one yesterday. This guy took about 5 minutes between sets to psych himself up - huffing, puffing, pacing up & down glaring in the mirror etc etc. All this was for his 3 sets of dumbell shrugs - with 20kg dumbells! Aaaaaaaarrrrrggghhhhhh On the other side of the evolutionary scale I was asked recently buy a BIG dude (Yep .... baseball cap, spotty back, too square jaw, skinny legs) to pass him his 150kg dumbell for his incline bench press. PASS IT????? I couldn't even ROLL the damned thing LOL!
  6. Yo Kicker You said "but yoda if your in a club and someone teaches the group should I say what they do or just like you do by yourself?? " Sorry but I don't understand what you're asking. Care to have another go?
  7. Hi AD At your age I'd stick to a good quality multi-viatmin & mineral supplement, unless you have any specific problems that we don't know about. The things to be careful with are the fat soluble vitamins, especially A & D - Your body can store these & build up a toxic amount - you'd have to take a LOT though. Take too much of the others & you'll just make very expensive urine Seeing as you're on eof us Brits you could take the ones I use. From Holland & Barrett health shops - Bet you have one of those in Brum The are called "Timed release Athlete's Formula" - 1 tablet per day would be great. They'll cost you about a fiver for 60 tablets, but if you keep you eye on their 2 for one deal the multi-vits appear on there from time to time. When they do I buy about 6 lots! _________________ YODA 2nd Degree Black Belt : Doce Pares Eskrima Instructor : JKD Concepts http://www.jkdc.co.uk / http://www.docepares.co.uk [ This Message was edited by: YODA on 2002-02-18 10:09 ]

  9. We call it a stick
  10. Oh yes - I remember Master Po
  11. Not having much luck with contacts Jack. Seems you live in a Chi-Sao wasteland The only place I can find is here.... http://www.norfolk-wingtchun.co.uk/ But I cannot say that I would recommend them - they'll bleed you of every penny you have before they get around to teaching you chi-sao! _________________ YODA 2nd Degree Black Belt : Doce Pares Eskrima Instructor : JKD Concepts http://www.jkdc.co.uk / http://www.docepares.co.uk [ This Message was edited by: YODA on 2002-02-17 14:18 ]
  12. I have a heart condition & have had no adverse effects using Ephedra based supplements, just good reslults!
  13. Hey Hapkidodude You started at IMB yet? If not when do you plan to?
  14. I've seen the tape of the so called "fight" between WC & EB - I saw no Wing Chun that's for sure. All I saw was a cheap shot followed by two kids scrappin' in the playground. The terms "Grandmaster" & "Master" did not spring to mind!
  15. Helloooooo.................
  16. Hi Elliot Welcome to the boards & welcome to the rich world that is martial arts.
  17. Yo Kicker - you wrote "it is true if your strong and in a fight you don't have to use your full strenght " My quote had more to do with not fighting. You know - "The art of fighting widout fighting" (We could take this boat.....)
  18. Ok - seeing as it's quotation time - here's one I like... Strong men can always afford to be gentle. Only the weak are intent on "giving as good as they get." ...Elbert Hubbard _________________ YODA 2nd Degree Black Belt : Doce Pares Eskrima Instructor : JKD Concepts http://www.jkdc.co.uk / http://www.docepares.co.uk [ This Message was edited by: YODA on 2002-02-16 13:38 ]
  19. Hey KickChick "If it kills you, it kills you" ----- In Bruce's case maybe it did! Hey Shotochem If you're gonna quote me - quote me properly "No, try not. Do, or do not. There is no try."
  20. Yo JKD Kid Do you practice the Jun Fan Gung Fu dummy sets? If not then I'd recommend them as they give a bit of much needed structure to dummy work. To have no form you must first have form. (One of the most misunderstood aspect of Jeet Kune Do - We are not "Anti-form") As the man himself said.... "Expression is not developed through the practice of form, yet form is a part of expression. The greater (expression) is not found in the lesser (expression) but the lesser is found in the greater. Having "no form" then, does not mean having no "form". Having "no form" evolves from having form. "No form" is the higher, individual expression." .... 21. Hi Jack Nope - nowhere near me - I'm in Wigan in the North West. I do, however, have a pretty extensive network of MA contacts - where in Norfolk are you?
  22. Hi Spinninggumby I have some Dummy plans with all the dimensions etc on if you'd like them?
