I dont know about the samurai origin but all i know is they were mostly used for wars.And i have no clue how they tested their blades..probably kill an ally? Samuari and Ninjas are basically alike.Ninjas are just quicker and stealthier for assassinations.Samurais are more advanced at weaponary and strength.

what style does he use/teach you?

Same for me,when i first started out on tkd my lower back kept hurting everytime i would kick.Eventually it got to a point where i couldnt even stand up straight.I had to get acupuncture about 6 times and waited 5 month period until it finally went away. A good exercise for the lower back would be to do sit ups,bu put your hands behind your head.

You should check out local book stores and look in the sports sections.They usually have books on karate with those ''idiot guide to karate'' kind of stuff.

washing your belt could also cause it to shrink,my opinion is that you should keep it as clean as possible.

well karate is also a great style of the martial arts.kids mostly take it rather than muay thai unless u wanna see 5 year olds grabbing eachother and slammin heads on their elbows and knee's.

uh..i didnt say it was flashy.Im just saying my master would teach us to do better in tournements rather to show us how to handle ourselves in a real fight. There is no flashy moves that ive seen in tkd,and so what? some people in my class try to make kicks look fancy,and end up gettin their * kicked in sparring.

some instructors teach only for the money and teach you jack shyt.On the other hand some teach more for the pleasure of handing down their skills more than then money.Be careful on which school you decide to join.

I just like swingin them around and hitting things,lol nah. I think of them the same way you do to,im always in my backyard setting empty cans everywhere and running around hitting them to help me with my aiming and agility with them.I only use one pair of nunchaku's though.

go to a home depot n buy plaster to cover them up =D. Ive never thrown ninja stars nor knives before,the only thing ive ever flung between 2 fingers were cards.I dun think i can even throw a knife right,it'll most likely end up hitting with the butt,haha i have no ninja skillz

My tkd shoes are my lowtop nike cortez's.Not exactly a martial arts shoe but it sure can cut it for making my feet light and making my ankle flexible as if i wasnt wearing shoes.

Fei hung probably did fight 30 men,but he either was also on the verge of death or took them one by one..but it also could be a myth. Both Bruce and Fei are natural hero's.Fei hong for his crime fighting/medical helping and Bruce for showing america chinese culture and being the first big azn superstar in america. Uh..little dragon isnt my real nickname,Its really little tiger since my master's nickname is Tiger..and he said i was just like him when he was my age..so yeah.O just chose dragon cuz it had more of a flow^^
