  1. Yes i knwo how to punch properly, thats not the problem, the problem s when i punch and the defender has a elbow out, in a clinch while trowing body unches i cant see his arms so my thumb just catches it. Anyway this post wasnt aobut propre punching, i want to know some tips on strengthening the thumb etc.
  2. Dont know, im not exactly a specialist, ive been training for 3 years and yes i am good but i still wouldnt have 100% controlly over a real situation, ya kno
  3. It also depends on youre athletic ability, if you come in there and you ahve never watched, liked etc a fighting sprot/combat and you dont have those genes it will take you a long time to learn.
  4. Drunken Monkey, if youre having trouble going in then you automatically have to thisnk of a different plan which mean, fake first then jump in there with a kick or whatever u want to use. Getting beat is the best thing for me because it makes me go home and just think of what i could have dont not to ge tbeat which makes you better. Also, start kicking to his body or lower half of the body first, when he gets the routine that every kick is going to the body thats when u go for the head and make that knock out move. There is numerous things that u can do differently, just keep thinking about new excape plans. Hope i helped.
  5. I have sprianed both of my thumbs at least 5-7 times each in a rel short period of time, this happend when i punch and i catch the thumb on the elbow of the opponent. Anyway my question is how can i condition and strengthern the thumbs now? After all this abuse theyre pretty loose and it doesnt that much force to sprain them again.
  6. Whod do you think is youre worst enemy? Tall, short, unexperienced fighters etc? For me, it has to be mostly the unexperienced fighters. reasons: They just charge at you without thinking twice and start throwing punches that mess up youre movements and rhythm. They also arent disciplined which leads to going crazy and just swinging at you. A disciplined fighter will most likely charge at you in a controlled manner and throw a kick or punch and then back out which is much easier, and there is a controlled rhythm with a controlled fighter. What is your worst enemy?
  7. I cant beleive this, the other day i was thinking to my self saying when is he going to fight again and he got killed.
