Granmaterchen, you really shouldnt punch at things that dont "give" like a tree, you will hurt your writst and elbow joints because the tree willnot move back so ur joints are taking alot of punishment, punch some thign that gives.

Forms for Competition
Topic replied to three60roundhouse's topic in TKD, TSD, Hapkido, and Korean Martial Arts
I practice the same style ITF and Hwarang Do isnt much difficult to learn. I dont think any of the forms are nice to look at in my opinion, so i suggest you take a little bit of every form, it might not even be from TKD and just mke up your own. Think of new kick combinations, make everythign smooth, have pauses etc. -
Reverse breathing...What is it good for?
Topic replied to Topic's topic in TKD, TSD, Hapkido, and Korean Martial Arts
Thanks for clearign it up Spookey, so when you brreathe in through your nose and ur stomach loosens (not contracts like regularly) then your stuffing more oxygen in the lungs? Thants weird, but i definately beleife you, thanks. -
My TKD teacher tells us to practice breathing backwards...Instead of taking contracting ur stomach when u take a deep breath, and letting ur stomach go when breathgin out, hwe tells us to let the stomach go (fill up) when u take a deebp breath, and contract it when u let it out. He says this will help train the inside of your body, is this true? I mean u are reverse breathign so ur working diff muscles, but what else is it good for?

Most of you guys in here are physically fit and can fight good but not many are mind thinkers, i want to point out some things you should look at when youre fighting your oponent. I also what you guys to giove me some tips if i leave anything out. 1. Fight the oponent from all angles - dont just fight him straight on, after he throws his jab go around his blind side and catch him wiht a round kick right to the body, hope u guys know what i mean. 2. study you oponent - watch what technique he does more often, see what techniques hes not good at. After you see what techniques he will do most often/or is best at, DO NOT give him a chance to do thse techniques, frusetrate him, you ahve to fight a style that hes not good at. When you realize the mitakes hwe makes maybe twice in the fight, spot the mistake again and catch him off guard. For example...lets say everytime he throwas a roundkick he throws his arms all over the place, ( u know what im talking about, we all do this, for that extra power) catch him the next time he does the roundhouse kick ang go in there wiht punches, kicks whatever. 3. Pick out a technique youre good at - i have a good side kicks, so when im fighting i like to warn my oponent right off the bat, i let him come in and bang i nail him wiht a side kick right to the torso, now i know hes thinkgin more and saying to himself " damn this guys got a godo kick, i cant go in there liek that" i just took care of the problem of him being offensive, now i can be more agressive on him. Of course dont use the same technique always. 4. set him up - we all hear this...go in there wiht low round kicks to the leg at first and suddenly pick up tha round kick to the head, itll catch him off guard, u guys probably know thi sallready. This is some of the stuff i keep in mind whenfighting, there are a milion other things, so i want to hear your suggestions now...

Roy def won the fight that night, because trevor only scored points when roy was tired and went to the ropes. I want to soo tyson vs, roy badly, i think that roy willl win that fihgt by unanimous dec. Tyson could get in that knockout punch though, i doubt it though because roy will just stick n move like he always does. Lewis and roy will not happen because lewis is a bitch, he cant accept the fact when when he does loose a match, vitali klitchko killed him in his last fight, but no he cant say "yea he did good" or give him points, instead hes like " i knew i had him blah blah blah" thats how he is.

Most effective style...
Topic replied to Topic's topic in MMA, Muay Thai, Kickboxing, Boxing, and Competitive Fighting
Good points -
Personally, i am not a fan of wrestling at all, or any type of ground fighting etc. But i definately think that groundfighting is probably the most effective style out there, ive been think ing about this alot. Everytime i watch king of the cage or UFC or pride fighting, everythign almost ends on the floor. The other day i was watching Mirko CroCop fight an opponent which knows jiu jitsu. Anyway Mirko was killing him so badly with his legs, punches etc. then all of a sudden this guy knocks Mirko to the flor, gets his hand in a rall bad position and Mirko had to tap out, he lost for nothing, it just shows you that a good jiu jitsu fighter doesnt even have to know any punching, kickin etc techniques, all he needs is his ground techniques, once he charges at you and knock you down he will most liekly win. What do you guys think?

Are you pissing blood? Or is youre urin any darker? This happend to me also and my piss was really dark with streaks of blood in it. I went to the doctor, i dont think anything was wrong wiht me, i forgot what he said. I dont think yours seems like a big problem, eventhough you should check in with the doctor. -
